Mia and her brother used to live in the parking where they were fed and loved by the workers. At the age of 4 months during a harsh winter Mia got hit by a car and couldn’t move for a few days. She did get up after all but there was no one to take her to the vet for an X-ray. Later on, her brother got into the same accident., that’s when I found out about them and had to urgently get the dogs out of that parking lot.
We did an X-ray, the fraction was slowly healing so I made a decision that surgery would only cause unneccessary pain and, likely, complications so we left her leg “as is”. The leg ended up a bit crooked, but Mia does not have a limp. Instead, she has a “ballerina” walk. She has no restrictions regarding her movements.
She’s been living at a foster home in the countryside ever since she was 4 months old. Used to walks on-and-off the leash, 3x a day. She’s very gentle and well-behaved, doesn’t bark nor chew on furniture. Gets along with other dogs. Hasn’t had a chance to be around cats, but I believe she’ll get along with cats just fine judging by her friendly and calm personality.
Mia will make a perfect paw friend and companion, especially for those adopting a dog for the first time. Can be adopted as a second dog as well. As for the accommodation, Mia will be a perfect fit for both an urban apartment and a countryhouse.
