Fanta is very positive, funny and bright dog (that’s why she has a name of fizzy water). She is 1,5 years old and has a multicolor spotty coat pattern; the fur is smooth and pleasant to the touch. Healthy, sterilized.
In spring 2018 two little puppies appeared in a yard of an apartment house, one of those puppies was Fanta. House residents fed the dogs, children played with them, but nobody could or/and wished to adopt. Once the puppies disappeared – they were brought to a shelter. We met Fanta, who seemed to be a very clever and sociable dog, there and decided to find new family and home for her.
Since 01/05/2019 Fanta has been living in a flat foster home. Fanta walks twice a day, has no toilet and walking on leash problems, eats dry food (Grandorf currently) and loves any kind of dainties, knows commands “come here”, “sit”, “give a paw”, “up” (to jump over sth or somewhere), “lie down”, “stop”, “no”, “go to your place”, “spit out”. She travelled in a car in a cage calmly. Fanta likes playing toys and does it at home mostly. In fact, playing with toys means breaking them into little pieces, that’s why toys should safe, lasting and in enough amount.
She has a problem with staying alone because of missing, spoiled some clothes, shoes a few times and gnawed the door at the first one. After a month everything has become better and Fanta is able to stay alone for a few hours. We guess, after getting used to a new place and clear understanding that she has home and family this problem will disappear. Fanta is very calm, positive, clever and friendly to others. Her main trait is focus on human being and especially on owner: she is attentive to words, intonations and mood, tries to do sth to be liked and will rather prefer conversation with people to conversation with dogs.
Once Fanta met a 1,5 years old boy and behaved very good: didn’t run away, let to caress herself. The boy even fell down on Fanta, but she only tried to lick him. She isn’t aggressive and gets on with other dogs well, sometimes is interested in birds and tries to catch them.
We have no information about Fanta’s reaction on cats, outside she wanted to catch them (no idea for what exactly), so family without cats is preferable. The best home for Fanta will be an active family (kids are possible) who can her energy in good way: this dog can learn many tricks and commands, do frisbee, agility and so on. And it’s really desirable somebody could be at home, at least during the period of adaptation, because Fanta really misses people when she stays alone.
