Ruim 6 geleden hebben wij Zjoltie (Zheltuhin) geadopteerd. Het spijt ons jullie te laten weten dat we hem hebben moeten laten inslapen. Het was op, Zjoltie was inmiddels ruim 14 jaar. Hij had al een paar jaar artrose en nu nog een aantal andere kwalen die we na vele dierenarts bezoeken niet konden oplossen. Het was een top hond en de beslissing was moeilijk. We missen hem.

Zheltuhin leefde een tijdje op een binnenplaats van een school. Hij deed er niemand kwaad maar was erg waaks, waar de directeur van de school bezwaar tegen had. De vrouw die hem voerde, was genoodzaakt hem naar het asiel te brengen waar hij zich snel aanpaste.
Daar zat hij jaren te wachten tot ook hij zijn hok met stro voorgoed mocht verlaten; 2 van zijn kennelmaatjes waren al naar Nederland, dus we hoopten dat Zheltuhin ook snel een enkele reis naar Nederland zou krijgen.
Zjoltie (zijn roepnaam) had geluk: hij mocht naar een opvangadres in Nederland (omgeving Gouda).
Daar wordt dit menneke met de dag gelukkiger en mooier. Hij woont nu met een reu en een teef samen en dat gaat fantastisch. Af en toe komt er een ‘bezoektekkel’ en die accepteert hij ook moeiteloos.
Hij loopt prachtig mee aan de lijn (of je een handtasje vasthebt); kan los mee en komt direct terug als je hem roept. In huis is hij de rust zelve en slaapt dan meestal. Als hij los buiten mag is het net een puppie….. rent, speelt, zoekt muisjes….helemaal naar zijn zin.
Hij is gezond, slim, ontzettend lief en zindelijk. Hij is waaks – in de zin van alert, bijvoorbeeld als er iemand (vreemd) de tuin in komt.
We zoeken een fijn baasje waar Zjoltie de rest van zijn leven kan blijven. Hij past super bij wat oudere mensen die van lange wandelingen houden en een makkelijke hond willen die goed luistert, best wel een paar uurtjes alleen kan zijn en gek is op autorijden!
Als u serieuze belangstelling heeft, nodigen wij u graag uit om Zjoltie in de ogen te komen kijken en zijn superzachte vacht te aaien. U zult op slag verliefd worden op deze kanjer!

Attitude towards adults – perfect, very fond of care, affection and tenderness. He is a kind dog. Look at his wise eyes; he is waiting for his own Master! He is very good with a person! He will be perfect friend for your family. He likes to be in a company of people, he likes listening person’s voice, likes when you speak to him, kiss and hug him a lot, patted his belly. In the shelter he has no enough care but he needs persons care very much. He is not intrusive. He is very tender dog, opened to the whole world. He feels person’s mood very carefully and ready to be with you in a good and bad times. He will be a good partner for you to watch TV and have a good snack together at walking’s time.
Attitude towards children – good. He can stay in a family with adult kids.
Attitude towards other dogs – he has a very good contact with dogs, communicative, he likes to play with dogs. He perfectly walks on a leash and gets on very well with other dogs during the walks. He shows no dominance. Now he lives at the same aviary with female and male dogs and shows a good behavior. Communicative dog.
Attitude towards cats – he doesn’t like cats.
He can be your second or third dog. He is enough active, likes to run and play.
He is a smart dog and has a big heart and needs to be loved. Zheltuha is a very grateful dog.
Preferable residence – we would like him to stay in the farm.
Owner preference – Fits perfectly in any family, the elderly couple or families with adult children and dogs. The most important for him – to be with a person and be loved.
History, particularities – he was found on the street then was caught and came to the shelter in January 2009. He is a communicative and friendly dog, he adores people and likes to play and run with dogs. He is a grandfather for most of the shelters dogs. He is enough wise and confident dog. He likes to be in a company of people, likes when you speak to him, play, touch his belly, he is very tender dog. He listens you very well, he is opened to the whole world. If he is not on the leash you can call him and he will return back to you. He is perfectly on the leash, not pulling. He can become a very good friend for the whole family! He is a kind and friendly dog, tender, has a very good and soft and “easy” character. He is ready to be your friend and become a part of your family! He could be the most loyal friend! He is a dog-companion. We are looking for a very responsible owner for Zheltuha. He perfectly fits in any family with other dogs, perfect dog for retired person!
