ZaikkaEven een update over Zaikka. We zijn erg gelukkig met haar. Onze zorg, dat het niet zou gaan met Flora, blijkt voor niks. Het gaat niet helemaal vanzelf, maar het ontwikkelt zich mooi. Zaikka heeft Flora een paar keer flink op haar plek gezet (onderwerpen, snuit vast pakken,…) en dat is een prima actie die Flora op haar plek als puberende hond zet.
Wat we zo mooi vinden, is de rust die ze uitstraalt. Ze is sensitief, conflictmijdend maar niet (te) onderdanig. En zo mooi, met die intensieve ogen…. Kortom, we zijn eigenlijk verliefd…..

Zaikka is in januari 2017 door een asielhoudster gevonden bij een bushalte in Shchyolkovo, een stad in de buurt van Moskou. Ze had een fikse wond in haar nek. Volgens de dierenarts was de wond veroorzaakt door een beet, gelukkig goed kon deze goed genezen. Nu verblijft ze in het asiel. Het was snel duidelijk dat ze ooit een huishond was geweest; ze had een halsband om, liep direct netjes mee aan de lijn en begreep ook de commando’s. Zaikka heeft haar eigen hok in het asiel, maar is het grootste deel van de dag te vinden op het terrein waar ze vrij rond loopt. Ze zien haar daar als de gastvrouw van het asiel, vriendelijk naar alles en iedereen.

Houding tov volwassenen: Goed. Ze is vrolijk, trouw, vriendelijk en zachtaardig. Ze is slim en leergierig en vindt het geweldig om samen met de baas iets te ondernemen. Ze kent enkele commando’s en loopt netjes mee aan de lijn.

Houding tov kinderen: Goed met oudere kinderen.

Houding tov andere honden: Goed zowel met reutjes als teefjes. Onbekende honden worden vriendelijk benaderd. Willen ze spelen dan speelt ze, gaan ze grommen dan gaat ze weg. Zaikka is totaal niet dominant en kan prima als tweede hond worden geplaatst.

Houding tov katten: Goed.

Kan alleen zijn: Onbekend.

Autorijden: Goed.

Gezondheid: Zaikka is gevaccineerd, gechipt, gesteriliseerd en heeft een dierenpaspoort.

Voorkeur adoptanten: Zaikka is heel geschikt om in een gezin met wat oudere kinderen te worden geplaatst. Ze heeft graag mensen om zich heen en vindt het heerlijk om achter een balletje aan te rennen. Zaikka is heel sociaal en een fantastisch maatje voor elke hondenliefhebber.

5. Health – at the shelter stays from January 2017, during the stay there were no health problems. Dog is healthy.

7. The history of the dog
Zaikka was found by the hostess of the shelter in the city of Shchyolkovo near Moscow at the bus stop with a big wound on her neck in January 2017. The dog was cured, and since then she has been living in a shelter. Zaikka obviously lived with people, she was in a collar, knows the leash, the team, very friendly and focused on the person. As it turned out at that stop, and that the trouble with it happened, we will not know. According to the nature of the wound, the doctor said that, most likely, it was a bite. They searched the hosts, but to no avail, no one responded. Zaikka has her aviary in the shelter, but most of the time she spends freely walking around the territory as the hostess of the shelter. Dog is extremely communicated, opened to people and pets, smart.

8. Nutrition – allergies are not found, and dry food and canned food and homemade food. With pleasure treats yummy.

9. Character – general temperament – sociable, sociable dog, moderately active, positive and playful. Zaikka. it seems always in a good mood. Clever and smart, learns everything new quickly. Very person-oriented. Panic afraid of shots firecrackers.

*Update 16-05-2018: Today checked by my daughter. Absolutely able to be with kids. Very stable dog and calm.
