NOVEMBER 2021

Shelty was found in the street of Moscow earlier in June. Nobody knows where she came from. We have an assumption that she could come together with her mother dog, who was unfortunately hit to death by a car. Shelty was dragging here and there under the rain before we managed to catch her and take her to the foster family.

Feed: dry food, no allergy
Temper: kind and shy, a bit constrained with the people who she does not know. It may take her some time to get comfortable with the new people. However she is very social, loves cuddling and never shows any aggression at all. Like all young dogs, she loves to play and have fun, happy to spend time with the people.

Attitude to adults: for the first time – a bit constrained, needs time to feel at ease. But when she gets used, she fully trusts and feels comfortable. She prefers women to gentlemen, maybe because she lives in a foster house with two ladies.

Attitude to children: was not tested, but most likely good. She never shows any reaction when she meets children during her walks.

Attitude to other dogs: good. She loves to play with others and never demonstrates any aggression.  Attitude to cats: she loves playing with cats and chasing them in play, but this is something that the cats do not like. Attitude to other animals: was not tested

Leash: good, does not strain, walks by.
Commands: not trained
Car: good, but maybe stressed for the first time
Home: can stay alone, indifferent to furniture or other interior
Toilet: 2 times a day, does not pee at home
Toys: loves to play as she is young. Interesting fact – she loves to catch the insects, starts to chase them as soon as she see any insect flying by.

Future family: Shelty can be adopted as a single dog or as a second dog to another dog who is not aggressive of course. She will be a great fit for the young and mid-aged people who are active, easy going and can spend time with her going out and doing outdoor walks and exercises.
Home: a house with a yard would be the best option, though she will also feel comfortable in an apartment.
