Milly was found in the street in November 2019 where she was running and looking for her babies. By her condition it was clear that she had delivered puppies, but there was no one around and she was desperate. We took her from the street to the vet clinic where she was taken care to recover. Unfortunately her puppies were not ever found. Later on she moved to her current foster home where she could feel comfortable and started to trust people again.
Feed: dry food, no allergy, indifferent to treats
Temper: calm and shy, a bit constrained with the people who she does not know. It may take her some time to get comfortable with the new people. However she is very social, loves cuddling and never shows any aggression at all.
Attitude to adults: a bit constrained, needs time to feel at ease.
Attitude to children: was not tested
Attitude to other dogs: selective. Overall she goes well with other dogs, but does not allow to be pressed or disturbed – then she can push back. She prefers male dogs to female.
Attitude to cats: was not tested
Attitude to other animals: was not tested
Leash: good, does not strain, walks by.
Commands: not trained
Car: good, by may be stressed for the first time
Home: can stay alone, indifferent to furniture or other interior
Toilet: 2 times a day, does not pee at home
Toys: indifferent or just not used to them, prefers just to walk and sniff
Future family: Milly can be adopted as a single dog or as a second dog to another (male) dog who is also quite and will not dominate or press. She will be a great fit for the mid-aged or elderly people with a quite lifestyle, as she doesn’t require active walks or exercises.
Home: a house with a yard would be the best option, though she will also feel comfortable in an apartment.
