Houding tov volwassenen: perfect! Ze kent geen agressie, vindt het heerlijk als er voor haar gezorgd wordt, dol op aandacht en tederheid. Ze is graag in gezelschap van mensen en andere honden. Ze houdt van rennen en spelen. Het is gewoon een vriendelijke, levenslustige hond die altijd blij is en altijd in een goed humeur is.
Ze doet het netjes aan de lijn, trekt een klein beetje. De oorzaak is dat ze in het asiel niet genoeg kan rennen en spelen. Ze is nog jong en kan haar energie en levenslust niet kwijt in het asiel.
Houding tov kinderen: goed Meggy kan in een gezin met grotere kinderen (vanaf 10 jaar). Ze is absoluut goed met kinderen, heeft een zachtaardig karakter en is erg vriendelijk. Soms legt ze haar poot op uw schouder om te vragen of u met haar wilt spelen.
Houding tov andere honden: Ze kan heel goed overweg met andere honden. Ze is vriendelijk en communicatief. Ze houdt van wandelen, spelen en rennen met andere honden. Ze kan als tweede of derde hond geplaatst worden maar ze kan ook als enige hond in een gezin. Ze toont geen dominantie.
Goed met katten: goed. Meggy2 kan bij katten.

Voorkeur woonomgeving: Een huis met een tuin of een boerderij heeft de voorkeur omdat ze rennen erg fijn vindt. Of lekker met haar baas mee voor een stevige wandeling.
Voorkeur adoptanten: Geen voorkeur. Ze past bij elke familie met (grotere) kinderen of zonder kinderen. Ze kan ook bij wat oudere mensen geplaatst worden. Ze kan bij andere honden (reutjes en teefjes) en katten zijn ook geen bezwaar. Ze maakt niets stuk in huis, blaft niet en is zindelijk.

Attitude towards adults – perfect, no aggression at all, very fond of care, affection and tenderness. She likes to be in a company of people and other dogs. She adores people and likes to play and run. She is very friendly dog, she is full of joy and always in a good mood. She is good on the leash, not pulling a lot. In the shelter she has no enough time for running. She is a young dog. She is full of energy! Meggy is opened to the whole world! She likes to play with other dogs. Not dominance.
Attitude towards children – she can stay in the family with adult children, absolutely good with kids, has a good and soft character, friendly and active dog. If she wants to play she can put her paws on your shoulders.
Attitude towards other dogs – she is very good with other dogs, friendly and communicative dog. She likes walking and running with dogs and playing a lot. She could be a second or third dog in a family or be the one. She shows no dominance.
Attitude towards cats – yes. She is able to stay with cats.
Preferable residence – it doesn’t matter, the main thing for her is to be loved, fed, walked and patted often. We would like her to stay in a house with a garden or farm because she likes to run and has a good walking with her master.
Owner preference – Fits perfectly in any family, or families with adult children, and dogs (male or female) and cats. Nothing spoil inside.
History, particularities – her story in very common. She was born on the street and after came to the shelter. She is a communicative and friendly dog, she likes people, she adores them and dogs, she is an active dog with a very soft character. She likes to be in a company of people, likes when you speak to her, especially play with her, be in a good contact with her. She likes to run and walk. She could be a very good friend for the whole family! Meggy is a very positive dog and very gentle. Meggy is the dog who really need her home and master.
She feels your mood and if you are not ready to play – she will leave you and not disturb you….just stay near you. Not intrusive dog. Perfect for a family or elder person!
