KOMT HIER EEN GELUKKIG VERHAAL ?

De vrijwilligers uit Rusland zijn erg dankbaar voor de adopties en zijn natuurlijk erg blij met alle updates uit Nederland waarin ‘hun’ dieren in de nieuwe thuis en omgeving te zien zijn.

Het zou geweldig zijn om de Russische vrijwilligers het resultaat van hun vele werk te laten zien.

Wij willen u vragen alstublieft foto’s of video’s te mailen naar mymartin@mymartin.eu om de vrijwilligers uit Rusland hun gelukkige rushonden te laten zien.

Sinds september jl. is Martha 3 in Nederland bij een geweldige foster in de omgeving van Gouda.

Martha is sociaal, energiek, actief, nieuwsgierig, maar bovenal een echte mensenhond. Het liefst wil Martha alles goed bekijken en met iedereen kennis maken. Ook met de medewerkers van het asiel maakte ze heel makkelijk contact. Als ze uit haar hok werd gehaald om een wandeling te kunnen maken wilde ze eerst haar vrijwilligers uitbundig begroeten en knuffelen.

Martha is eigenlijk per ongeluk in het asiel terecht gekomen. Ze liep rond in een buitengebied waar veel honden gewoonlijk los lopen. Waarschijnlijk liep Martha gewoon rond in de buurt van haar huis en is ze per abuis als ‘straathond’ bestempeld en gevangen.

Wij hopen dat Martha snel ook haar nieuwe huis en baas vindt!

Houding tov volwassenen: Goed, Martha is lief, speels en heel mensgericht. Ze is superslim en gehoorzaam.

Houding tov kinderen: Goed, met kinderen vanaf 10 jaar.

Houding tov andere honden: Goed, Martha kan prima als tweede hond worden geplaatst. Ze sluit gemakkelijk vriendschappen met andere honden.

Houding tov katten: Goed.

Kan alleen zijn: Ze verblijft nu samen met een ouder teefje en ligt rustig in haar mand.

Autorijden: Onbekend.

Gezondheid: Martha is gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.

Voorkeur woonomgeving: Bij voorkeur een huis met een tuin.

Voorkeur adoptanten: Omdat Martha een zeer mensgericht slim hondje is ze een perfecte hond om mee op cursus te gaan. Martha is actief en graag buiten. Ze past het best bij mensen die zelf ook actief zijn en erop uit trekken.

Martha, born in autumn 2015. Neutered, vaccinated, healthy. Shoulder height 52 cm, weight 22-25 kg.
Martha’s story:
She got to the shelter in May 2017. After planned dog catching in Moscow some new dogs including Martha got to the shelter. She easily got in touch with workmen of our sector, also with me and other volunteers. She always tried to jump out of the cage, and when she was let out, rushed to them for a hug and was ready to leave her cage and go for a walk. So it feels like she was caught in the countryside when dogs are usually let to run free (free-range) without their owners. She was walking near her house and got caught accidentally. It is human dog, sociable, energetic, but not leash-trained. Martha turned to be clever, intelligent and obedient. She is very human-oriented. She got used to the leash quickly, but she pulls because she is so active and curious, cares about everything and wants to talk to everyone. Loves walking and playing. Amiable, no aggression at all. She makes friends with all the dogs. Likes meeting new people and dogs. She needs more running, playing – then she will walk better at a leash. Martha got it clear the shelter is her home, she has a good sense of direction and goes back to the shelter after walk. Martha needs a sporting family, active as well as herself, able to provide her long walks- and Martha would be a good companion for them. Better a separate house with a plot, where she can run free without a leash. Dog training classes would be also good- she has to be taught main rules and commands, so she can become more obedient and correct her energy. And first of all, Martha will be a well-bred dog and a devoted friend. Friendly to people, to dogs. We cannot say about cats. Neutral to children. Cannot say about going by car. A separate house with a big land plot would be the best.
