Lieve Kevin gaat vandaag naar z’n adoptant! Ik heb van je genoten jongen, wat een top hondje ?
Dat je een heel mooi nieuw leven tegemoet gaat bij je nieuwe baas!

Kevin is binnen een rustige rushond en buiten lekker actief met wandelen. Een knuffelhond die erg van aandacht houdt en graag gekroeld wil worden.
Ook is Kevin een hond die de hondentaal erg goed begrijpt, goede kalmerende signalen afgeeft en leest.
Kevin speelt erg goed met andere honden en de nodige momenten zijn al geweest dat hij wat grappigs doet waardoor iedereen in een deuk ligt (van een zandberg afglijden op zijn buik bijvoorbeeld).
Hij heeft geen hoogtevrees! Dat bewees hij laatst door uit het open staande raam te springen vanuit het appartement waar hij woont. Het hart van de fostermama stond een paar seconden stil maar Kevin lag prinsheerlijk een paar verdiepingen lager op een soort van afdak in de zon.
Kevin woont samen met een andere rushond (teefje). Alleen is hij dus nooit. Als de fostermama even weg moet, is Kevin nog wel onrustig. Dan loopt hij wat heen en weer. Maar hij is uiteraard pas één week in NL. Binnenshuis kan hij soms iets van zich zelf laten horen als er bezoek binnen komt. Maar ook hierin is hij goed te corrigeren. Het beste is om tegen je bezoek aan te geven hem te negeren.
Buiten lijkt hij wat dominanter naar reutjes. Hier kan hij nog wat leren. Te snel en te druk benaderen vindt hij ook nog wat spannend, zeker bij mannen. Maar dit zal hij snel gaan leren, want hij is slim genoeg. Aan de riem loopt hij braaf mee zonder te veel te trekken.
Aan de lange lijn in het park vindt hij helemaal te gek! Kevin heeft een goed ontwikkelde neus en gebruikt hem graag om rond te speuren. Hij loopt uiteraard nog niet los in Nederland gezien zijn korte verblijf. Hij blijft graag bij je in de buurt en met wat goede training zal het prima gaan om lekker met hem los buiten te wandelen.

3. Appearance – mix of stray dogs. The coat is short, with undercoat. Color white with red spots on the back, red erect ears. Tail is white, bent ring on the back.
4. Weight is approximatly 25,4 kg / Height 35-40 cm.
5. Health – clinically healthy. During the stay in the shelter, there were no health problems.
6. Castration / sterilization: neutered
Chipped. Vaccinated.
7. History of the dog
Kevin…… When we found him he was dirty, but white and very kind. Kind, kind to all living things around him. Of course, he did not remember how he was in the car-care center, where he was fed and allowed to sleep. (Thank you very much to these people!)
Everyone was busy with work and paid little attention to him. And he began to look. He came to the park, where every dog was walking with owners of pets and running and playing with everyone. So it seemed to him that he was not alone, that he was also a pet.
He escorted someone to the entrance of the house in the hope that they would also take him home. But the miracle did not happen. (He joyfully wagged his tail to the children, some even allowed him to pat-that was happiness!) Settling next to the shop he waited, waited for his man, his family. Loneliness-a terrible feeling, much worse than hunger, did not give him rest … In the shelter it was not much better. Once… he came to the shelter. Of course, he was washed, combed,have made all the vaccinations and he has become a beautiful and well-groomed dog, but he does not have his own man. (Some people come to him personally to walk and play with him, he always awaits them and is jealous of other dogs, but so far nothing has changed, he still waits.
Kevin….. This dog can not live without a his own master, he is physically ill without a human being. He must necessarily be someone needed, he really needs his own family!

9. Character – general temperament – young active, emotional dog, focused on the person very much, communicate perfectly.
10. Attitude towards adults – Friendly to all, actively showing his feelings, quickly getting to know people, adores company of people.
11. Attitude towards children – In a family with children older than 10 years (benevolent, but emotional, can drop a small child)
12. Attitude to other males and bitches – shows interest in unfamiliar dogs, can defend itself in case of an attack.
