KOMT HIER EEN GELUKKIG VERHAAL ?

De vrijwilligers uit Rusland zijn erg dankbaar voor de adopties en zijn natuurlijk erg blij met alle updates uit Nederland waarin ‘hun’ dieren in de nieuwe thuis en omgeving te zien zijn.

Het zou geweldig zijn om de Russische vrijwilligers het resultaat van hun vele werk te laten zien.

Wij willen u vragen alstublieft foto’s of video’s te mailen naar mymartin@mymartin.eu om de vrijwilligers uit Rusland hun gelukkige rushonden te laten zien.

Rescued in mid Autumn of 2020 from “dacha” (summer house) in the Moscow region. In July 2020, Julysa found her shelter in an old lady summer house. She was treated with care, but at the end of the summer season the old lady began to look for volunteers who can take care of Julysa, as she could not take Julysa to her small city apartment. So after sterilization and vaccination volunteers took the dog and found new temporary home for her in Moscow.

Behavior to adults: Generally very good. She is very tender and calm dog, highly trustful to people, very friendly. During walking outside she is indifferent to passers-by, feels good on quiet streets and yards, but not afraid of cars. She treats men and women equally well. Meeting someone first time she can be shy in the beginning, but after some time she starts communicating very well. At home next to a person she feels calm, she is not conspicuous or attracting attention, very tactful. She walks on a leash on a harness, endures 2-time a day walking. Julysa is not very fond of walking in cold weather.

Attitude to children: Treats children friendly, with no fear, gentle, strongly shows signs of reconciliation to children, with those children she knows is ready to play.

Attitude towards female dogs: Calm and more likely friendly, does not try to compete and if there is aggression in her direction or domination simply walks away.

Attitude towards male dogs: Also calm, but she can be afraid of a large dog, especially if it shows character or agression.

Attitude towards cats: a friendly attitude towards cats as she lives with 3 cats in a temporary home.

Behavior in the car: Stays calm during the ride, in most cases tolerated trips well.

Health: Good. There are minor changes in the right hip joint that do not affect the physical condition, but sharp jumps, jerks and serious physical activity are not recommended, as well as participation in agility and dog sports. Physical activity should be moderate. Avoid hypothermia.

Medisch heeft Julysa een vernauwing van de gewrichtsspleet (kraakbeenlaag). De dierenarts in Moscow geeft aan dat Julysa hiermee een goed kwalitatief leven kan hebben. Julysa springt ook als een paardje gedurende de wandelingen; ze is moeilijk te stoppen. Het samen spelen of rennen met andere honden is voor haar ook geen probleem. Een cursus agility raden wij echter af alsmede zware lichamelijke inspanningen. 
Te veel (Moscow) kou met minus 20 graden is voor haar zeker ook niet goed. Gelukkig voor Julysa hebben wij deze lage temperaturen (nog) niet in NL/BE.

Dit mooie meisje zoekt een familie die bewust voor haar kiest. Een gezin die snapt dat zij nog moet groeien in haar zelfverzekerdheid, ze is nog een tikje verlegen. Samen kleine stapjes maken.  Ná aankomst niet veel ondernemen; eerst het huis en de tuin leren kennen en elkaar leren kennen.
Na gewenning zal zij volop genieten van wandelingen buiten en het knuffelen en samenzijn met haar nieuwe familie.
