Helly is echt een heel lieve, gemakkelijke hond. We nemen haar heel vaak mee en overal krijgen we complimenten dat ze zo braaf is. Werkpunten zijn er amper. We doen hondenschool met haar. Niet omdat het echt nodig is, maar omdat het leuk is en om sneller een goede binding krijgen. Op 4 weken tijd zijn we door het instapklasje geraasd. Met dank aan haar fantastisch fostergezin in Rusland. Want eerlijk is eerlijk: Helly was welopgevoed en liep al perfect aan de leiband toen ze hier aankwam.

Aanvankelijk vonden we een hond adopteren via een website heel riskant. Je kan hem niet zien in het echt, niet aanraken, en … is de organisatie wel te vertrouwen? Wij waren heel bewust op zoek naar een lieve, slimme, volwassen, middelgrote straathond. Door op internet te gaan zien, werd het aanbod natuurlijk plots veel groter. En ineens was ze daar: Helly. Helemaal wat we zochten! Een heel eerlijke, duidelijke beschrijving erbij, foto’s, filmpjes. Keurig antwoord op onze mail. Aangenaam telefonisch contact.
We hebben onze keuze nog geen seconde beklaagd. Alle afspraken zijn correct nagekomen. En wat een leuke huisgenoot hebben wij ondertussen. Dit is het hondje waar ik al heel mijn leven van droomde, maar nooit dacht te vinden!
Helly is neutered, vaccinated has no allergy or health problems. Prefers natural or canned dog food. Can eat kibble also.
She was found next to supermarket, trying get some food. Probably she lived at the construction site nearby. She is calm and socialised, living in a temporary home with other six dogs, 1 male and 5 females at the moment. She quickly became friends with these dogs, she does not conflict with any of them. Easily attached to a human, but unobtrusive. Helly is a very affectionate and gentle dog. Loves hugs and sleeping on a sofa. She is friendly to adults and children (communicated with children of 6 and 10 years old) . But a bit shy for a first 5-10 minutes.
On a walk shows interest in other dogs, does not show aggression. Her attitude to cats is not aware. Perfectly walks on a leash and without it. Helly is not interested in toys, she can play with other dogs in the street, but she is very attached to a man and prefers communication with the owner, appreciates affection, loves to be hugged, often begs to be petted. Not a carsick. Well behaved -does not waste anything in your absence at home. Toilet outdoors twice or three times a day.
Helly is suitable for any family, she can live with the second dog and in a family with children.
