Ze heeft een heerlijk karakter. Is rustig, vriendelijk en past zich aan aan degene met wie ze op pad is. Wanneer je met haar gaat rennen, rent ze mee, als ze rustig naast je moet komen zitten dan doet ze dat ook.
Aan de riem loopt ze rustig en los lopen gaat eigenlijk nog beter. Ze probeert heel dicht bij je te blijven. Autorijden vindt ze een beetje spannend, daar moet ze nog wat meer aan wennen. In speelgoed is ze niet geïnteresseerd, ze gaat veel liever rennen met jou. Ze is een geweldig maatje die met liefde alles met jou samen doet. Een huis met een tuin zou ze erg fijn vinden.
Gretta is een goede eter en is gek op hondenkoekjes.
Houding tov volwassenen: Goed. Naar vreemden toe is ze eerst een beetje timide, maar na even wennen laat ze zich toch graag op haar buikje kietelen. Ze is van nature gehoorzaam en gewoon zo’n lieve, gezellige hond, dat maakt dat je haar wilt knuffelen.
Houding tov kinderen: Het is niet bekend hoe ze is met kinderen, maar aangezien ze van nature een zacht karakter heeft en zich makkelijk aanpast, zou dat geen probleem moeten opleveren.
Houding tov andere honden: Goed. Met reuen en teefjes kan ze prima overweg, ze is vriendelijk naar alle andere honden. Agressie is haar compleet vreemd, ze heeft geen flauw benul hoe ze terug zou moeten vechten. Dit maakt haar wel een makkelijk doelwit voor andere honden met minder goede bedoelingen.
Ze zou een prima tweede of derde hond kunnen zijn.
Houding tov katten: Op katten reageert ze rustig. In de dacha is stoere huiskat Nora. Gretta en Nora negeren elkaar.
Kan alleen zijn: Of ze alleen thuis kan blijven weten we niet zeker, maar we vermoeden van wel, omdat ze ooit een huishond was.
Gezondheid: Gretta is gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
