Gezondheid: klinisch gezond, alle benodigde vaccinaties staan keurig in zijn dierenpaspoort vermeld, hij is gecipt en gecastreerd.
Gedrag t.o.v. volwassenen: perfect, totaal niet agressief, is dol op alle aandacht/verzorging/liefdevolle bejegening. Funtik is een heel vriendelijke, goed opgevoede hond die dringend verzorging en liefde nodig heeft, zoals je kunt lezen in zijn droevige ogen.. Hij wacht op een nieuwe eigenaar. Funtik houdt van mensen, luistert graag naar je stem en vindt het heerlijk als je tegen hem praat. In het asiel krijgt hij niet voldoende verzorging en die heeft hij hard nodig! Funtik is totaal niet opdringerig.
Gedrag t.o.v. kinderen: goed, het is een zachtaardige hond die gemakkelijk in een gezin met kinderen past
Gedrag t.o.v. andere honden: hij is sociaal en maakt goed contact met andere honden. Hij speelt graag met ze, vooral met jonge teefjes.. Hij loopt keurig mee aan de lijn en kan dan goed opschieten met de andere honden tijdens de wandeling. Funtik is niet dominant.
Gedrag t.o.v. katten: dat hangt ervan af in hoeverre de nieuwe eigenaar hem vertrouwd kan maken met katten, maar wij geven de voorkeur aan een adoptant zonder katten. Het is fijner voor Funtik om bij andere honden (teef of reu zolang ze maar niet dominant zijn) te blijven.
Voorkeur huis: geen voorkeur. Zolang hij maar alle verzorging (voedsel, uitlaten, liefde, aandacht etc.) krijgt. Hij is dol op wandelen.
Voorkeur eigenaar: Funtik past in elk gezin, met of zonder (oudere) kinderen, een ouder stel, met of zonder andere honden.
Geschiedenis/bijzonderheden: Funtik had een thuis, maar zijn baas overleed en de kinderen wilden Funtik niet in huis nemen. Nu woont hij dus in het asiel en wacht op zijn baas… Het is een buitengewoon lieve hondenjongen met een geweldig karakter. Hij zal je trouwste vriend en metgezel zijn. Een aardige en slimme hond voor wie wij een heel goede, verantwoordelijke eigenaar zoeken!

Attitude towards adults – perfect, no aggression at all, very fond of care, affection and tenderness. He is a very kind, well-mannered dog. He needs so much care and love! Look at his sad eyes; he is waiting for his own Master! He is very good with a person! He likes to be in the company of people, he likes listening to a person’s voice, likes it when people speak to him. In the shelter he doesn’t get enough care and he really needs a person’s care very much. Funtik is not intrusive.
Attitude towards children – good, has a very soft character. He can stay in a family with kids.
Attitude towards other dogs – he has very good contact with dogs, communicative, he likes to play with dogs, especially with young female dogs. He walks perfectly on the leash and gets on very well with other dogs during the walks. He shows no dominance.
Attitude towards cats – we think it depends on his new owner whether he will be ready to explain to Funtik that cats are his friends also. But we would like to find him a family without cats. It is better for him to be in the company of other dogs (female dog or male dog, but not dominant).
We think that he can be safely left alone as he doesn’t misbehave or bark. He can be your second or third dog.
He is a very smart dog and has a big heart and needs to be loved. Funtik is a very grateful dog.
Preferable residence – it doesn’t matter. The main thing for him is to be loved, fed, walked and patted often. Also he can be your best friend in everyday walking.
Owner preference – Fits perfectly in any family, the elderly couple or families with older children and dogs.
History, particularities – used to be a domestic pet. His owner died and the children didn’t want to take him. So now he lives in the shelter and is waiting for his master! He is a boy of extraordinary kindness and a wonderful character! He could be the most loyal friend! He is a dog-companion. Very kind and smart dog.
