Dunya, a girl about 1,5 years old. Weight about 25 kg. Shoulder height 55 cm. Neutered, vaccinated. She is regularly treated against all external and endoparasites. Dunya is a short-haired dog, she looks a bit like an East European Shepherd. Her hair doesn’t require special care, to comb once a week is enough. She has a docked tail, but it’s not her minus but a cherry on top. Tail-docking makes Dunya very original and attractive, in my point of view.
We took Dunya in the beginning of August from a village in Moscow district. A friend called my friend and told, that an abandoned dog was left at a railway station with a letter on her collar, she saw the dog near her summer cottage. The letter was saying the dog was healthy and neutered, also her name was written. The dog was in a big stress and panic. We asked that woman to take the dog to her garden plot. When she came to take her, the expensive dog-collar and the letter were already missing – so we couldn’t find out her first name. When later we went to the garden plot to take Dunya, we were met at the door by a very kind and merry dog.

Now Dunya is living in my friend’s family together with her dog and 7 cats. Dunya gets along well with all, she is very friendly, playful, naive and trustful and has absolutely no aggression. She is just that kind of dog that loves everyone – people, children, dogs and cats. She has a cheerful nature, so she loves to run, plays with the dog and with the cats at home. She is trained to walks, she can wait for the toilet, until someone takes her for a walk. She can pull on the leash a little, but she can calm down quickly and walks quietly. She is fond of long walks in the forest. Goes by car well, though she has car sickness a little bit. If you are planning a long trip, it is better not to feed her before that, and it’s necessary to take water with you. Dunya has bad memories referring cars – when we took her to the clinic soon after saving her from the street, she refused to go into the car first, and was afraid to go outside the car after. When we came back home very late, she didn’t recognize her house in the dark – she began to panic, thinking we were going to throw her away again. She calmed down in the flat only.

Dunya is extremely human-oriented, it’s important for her to love and be loved, she needs to feel, the takes every chance to come up and cuddle, loves to kiss and rest herself in your arms. She is always trying to look you in the eye. She tries hard to deserve the man’s love and shows it in all kinds of ways, how she needs it. She is a very light-hearted and sensitive dog. At home she sleeps on the floor or in the arm-chair at noon, at night she sleeps on the sofa together with her foster owner. Dunyasha eats dry food willingly, loves something delicious, loves to treat herself to melon and water-melon. Chew toys are a must. Dunya needs a loving man as food and fresh air. There is so much love, joy in this girl and she couldn’t help sharing it with everyone. She needs a man who would never leave her, who will be always by her side, care and protect her.
We see Dunya in an active family (with or without kids), ready for long walks. Also the family should bring her up, as she can be carried away by her playing and be naughty. She can become the second dog in the family. Would feel comfortable in the house.
