Het voelt aan alsof ze er al altijd is geweest. Ze doet het echt ongelofelijk goed! Ze is dikke vrienden met de honden (oude Sloeber en puppy Theo) én katten van onze ouders. Ook de eerste les in de hondenschool ging perfect! Ze leert enorm snel, verbaasde de coach en genoot met volle teugen van de training. Ze houdt enorm van de lange wandelingen, de trainingen, de speelmomenten, de dutjes in de zetel… Ze voelt zich duidelijk al helemaal thuis hier in België! Ter info: ze kreeg een dikke 10/10 van de dierenarts. Ze had nog nooit zo’n gezonde ‘asielhond’ gezien met zelfs een glanzende vacht. Daarom nogmaals een dikke dank je wel aan My Martin, aan het pleeggezin en het shelter in Rusland voor al die goede zorgen!

Dara is een aparte verschijning; ze is beige van kleur en het lijkt wel of ze een zwarte smoking aan heeft. Daarnaast heeft ze een prachtige, fiere staart en een paar schitterende donkere ogen.
Van nature is ze heel sociaal, vriendelijk, aanhankelijk en actief. Dara is slim en heeft heel snel door wat er van haar wordt verlangd. Een ontzettend goede kandidaat om te trainen.

In de herfst van 2019 liep Dara naar een boerderij waar ze speelde met de kinderen. Echter op de boerderij waren al honden die aan de ketting lagen en de boer had geen behoefte aan nog een hond en dreigde haar te zullen afschieten. Dara is met spoed naar een asiel gebracht en vandaar uit naar een opvanggezin, waar ze nu verblijft.

Ze loopt netjes mee aan de lijn tenzij ze een andere hond ziet waar ze naar toe wil, dan kan ze wat trekken omdat ze wil spelen.  Ze wordt nu 2x daags uitgelaten en is zindelijk. Dara houdt ontzettend van eten en als ze de kans krijgt zal ze zeker iets van de tafel pakken; een erfenisje van haar bestaan op straat.

Houding tov volwassenen: Goed, Dara kent geen angsten en gaat onbevangen op onbekenden af. Ze is graag aangehaald en vindt het heerlijk als er met haar wordt gespeeld.

Houding tov kinderen: Goed, Dara vindt kinderen leuk en is er heel lief voor.

Houding tov andere honden: Goed, Dara speelt graag met soortgenoten. Ze woont nu samen met een andere hond. Ze kan zeker als tweede hond worden geplaatst.

Houding tov katten: Goed. Dara leeft nu samen met 4 katten en alles is vriendjes met elkaar.

Houding tov andere dieren: Als ze een troep vogels ziet wordt ze enthousiast, niet om ze te pakken, maar voor het spel.

Kan alleen zijn: Goed.

Autorijden: Goed. Dara gaat lekker liggen slapen.

Gezondheid: Dara is gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.

Voorkeur woonomgeving: Bij voorkeur een huis met een tuin; Dara rent en speelt graag.

Voorkeur adoptanten: Dara past prima in een gezin met kinderen en andere huisdieren. Maar is ook uitermate geschikt voor een actief alleenwonend persoon of koppel.

Dara is 1 year old. Dara is a perfect family dog!

In the fall 2019, Dara ran to the farm, where she ran and played with children, but the farm has its own dogs, which are sitting on a chain, the farmer said that he did not need another one and he would shoot her. Dara had to pick up first at the shelter, and then at home foster, where she is now.

She is a mestizo with a very unusual appearance. The impression is that on top of her main sand color, a black vest is dressed. Sand color with a black back and sides, a black mask on the muzzle. Eyebrows are black, eyes are also dark. The coat is short, the ears are semi-permanent, the tail is long, straight. The dog is medium in size, quite elegant.

Dara’s appetite is good, she eats any food and with pleasure, at foster place she is fed with canned food and dry food. Of course, she will never give up delicious things.

Dara is a food worker, she loves to eat, she can steal from the table, her hungry childhood apparently affects her. found her pretty exhausted. There is no food allergy.

By nature it is an affectionate, friendly, sociable, active dog. Dara loves everyone, without exception, there is not a drop of aggression in her. She is not afraid of strangers, she communicates well with both adults and children of any age. She loves when she is stroked, paid attention, play with her. She walks well on a leash, but if another dog comes into view, she can pull it, because in dogs she sees exclusively game partners.

Playing with dogs adores, gender and size do not matter. She may be interested in a large concentration of birds, she can drive them, but without aggression, but to run around.

She communicates perfectly with cats. She lives in an apartment with a dog and four cats.

Dara is accustomed to a two-time walk, if more often – will not mind. The dog is smart, quickly grasps what they want from it, listens to the owner, tries to remember the rules of behavior. Can stay at home alone.

She tolerates the car well, immediately lays down and sleeps all the way. She knows the toys, but she is rather indifferent to them, she can chew on a rubber or plastic toy, she likes soft toys more, finds cat toys and takes them to their place. Of the teams knows the place to sit and to me.

It’s better to attach to your home, after all, the dog is young and active. It is possible in a family with children, with other animals.
