Kyra is doing well, it’s a nice and pride dog. We went to a veterinarian for a check up, and everthing was OK. She learns very quick (her new name, to sit …. ).
She loves to go walking and to get attention. You can see that she doesn’t come from a shelter, but that she has stayed in a home (she is clean, she likes to walk (city or nature), she likes driving in a car … ). She don’t like to be alone ( but that is sometimes necessary ) and to go to sleep (= alone).
She also want to protect her home, when there is someone new coming in the house, she can be angry. She also don’t likes motorcycles, than she always start to bark. But it is a very, very nice dog and we love her already.

Daisy is thuis. In het begin was ze erg stilletjes, daarna beetje nerveus. Vooral om we in de file hadden gestaan. Eenmaal thuis werd ze rustig.
Daisy is zindelijk, vindt speeltjes leuk zo lang u ook mee doet. Ze is niet overmatig actief. Wandelen vindt ze prima, maar lekker chillen op de bank zeker zo leuk. Daisy zou prima passen bij wat seniore mensen die de rust en de tijd hebben om er samen met haar een prachtig leven van te maken: beetje wandelen, lekker koffie drinken, nog eens een keertje wandelen etc. Maar zeker ook bij jongere mensen die dit type hond waarderen: een beetje eigenwijs, een snufje drama en een overkill aan liefde en trouw.
Houding tov volwassenen: Goed. Ze is graag bij mensen in de buurt. Daisy hecht zich snel aan mensen. Ze komt ook regelmatig aandacht vragen en geeft dan pootjes.
Houding tov kinderen: Goed met kinderen vanaf een jaar of 10.
Houding tov andere honden: Zoals zo veel kleinere hondjes gromt ze een beetje naar andere honden die haar voorbij rennen. Tja, wie niet groot is moet zich op een andere manier laten gelden. Het is ook uit jaloezie: hé dit is mijn baasje, wegwezen jij!
Houding tov katten: Onbekend.
Kan alleen zijn: Goed. Daisy maakt niets stuk.
Autorijden: Goed.
Gezondheid: Daisy is gevaccineerd, gechipt, gesteriliseerd en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Voorkeur woonomgeving: Geen voorkeur.
Voorkeur adoptanten: Mensen met begrip voor haar achtergrond. Daisy is waarschijnlijk gevangen met een haak. Daardoor vindt ze een halsband heel erg eng. Bij gebruik van een tuigje gaat dat stukken beter. Ze kan soms dramatisch piepen, maar met geruststelling is ze goed te kalmeren.
Daisy approximately was born in 2015. She has puppet, terrier appearance, chic tail with long hair, it is possible to make different haircuts for every taste or leave a long coat (but for long it is necessary to look after and comb out so as not to get tangled). 9 kg., Height – 33 cm, neck – 30 cm, chest – 49 cm. She does not have health problems, sterilized, vaccinated.
In September 2017, a small young, affectionate dog was brought to the shelter from captivity. We do not know what happened to her, but she was so confused and so drawn to the person that they could not leave her in the orphanage and transported her to a foster. Now she lives in the house with people and other dogs. Was sterilized on 05.11.2017. Now we are looking for the owner and the house for Daisy!
She eats dry food, has a good appetite. She likes apples, pears, bananas and other fruits (we rarely give them as treats or delicacies).
Quickly attached to a person, very fond of men. Often requires attention, giving a paw. By temperament, moderately active, will go on a walk with pleasure, but likes to lie on the sofa at home.
To people she is very affectionate, glad to all.
We haven’t checked her on babies, but for children from 10 years old and older, the attitude is friendly.
She can growl on dogs, but it’s more of an emotional nature. Jealous. Can try not to allow Other dogs come to a person. Does not like, when dogs run past her, she can bark on them. We haven’t checked her behavior on cats. She doesn’t react on birds on the street.
Very important – does not accept a collar !!! I think that she was caught on a noose-hook, therefore, she has such a reaction. If you fasten a leash to a collar, she starts to panic, scream and refuses to go. Good walks only on the harness. She can be frightened if she suddenly tangled or even after running into the bush. As soon as you fix the leash, she starts to squeal and fusses. Therefore, when walking, it is necessary to watch, so that the leash never clings. If suddenly this happened, you must first reassure her, and then gently untangle the leash. Also, Daisy is frightened if her paws are tangled in a leash.
She doesn’t know any commands. Good travels in a car, perfectly stays at home alone, doesn’t spoil. Accustomed to walk twice a day. She can play with toys if you participate in games. But she does not interested in toys by herself.
