In de winter van 2013 is ze op straat gevonden. Het arme dier was erg ziek (griep) en is door een vrijwilliger mee naar huis genomen om haar tijdelijk onderdak te geven. Daar woont ze sinds die tijd samen met katten en honden. We weten niet zo heel veel van haar achtergrond, maar wat we wel zeker weten is dat ze een heerlijke, lieve, zachtaardige hond is.
Houding naar volwassenen: ze is graag bij mensen in de buurt, alhoewel ze in het begin wat verlegen is als ze nieuwe mensen ontmoet en dan wat tijd nodig heeft; als het OK voelt, dan heb je haar ook helemaal! Ze is, net als elke andere hond, gek op aandacht en knuffels.
Houding naar kinderen: Daisy is zeer geschikt voor wat oudere kinderen.
Houding naar andere honden: Daisy speelt en rent graag met andere honden; ze is totaal niet dominant en zeer geschikt om als tweede of derde hond te worden geplaatst.
Houding naar katten: prima, in de opvang leeft ze nu ook met katten samen.
Gezondheid: goed – ze is gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Woonomgeving: zolang ze voldoende aandacht, liefde en beweging krijgt kan haar mandje overal staan. Ze woont nu in een opvanggezin en gedraagt zich prima; maakt niets stuk. Geef haar maar een hondenkauwspeeltje!
Gezinssituatie: Daisy pas prima bij een gezin met (wat oudere) of zonder kinderen/ met of zonder andere huisdieren.
Daisy is een speels dametje dat graag vlak bij u in de buurt blijft lopen; ze kijkt echt tegen haar baasje op en zoekt ook bescherming bij u. Ze is zeer zachtaardig en leergierig. Met haar op een hondencursus gaan, zou u plezier en haar meer zelfvertrouwen geven!

Attitude towards adults – good, very fond of care, affection and tenderness. She is a young dog. She likes to be in a company of people. She adores people and dogs. But she can be shy for the first meeting, she needs time to get used (a couple of days or hours it depends on the master)
Attitude towards children – she can stay in a family with an adult children.
Attitude towards other dogs – she is good with dogs, likes dogs, likes to play. She likes walking and running. She can be a second dog in a family. Shows no dominance. She adores people very much and ready to walk with you and be near your leg for the whole time. She likes listening people voices. For the first time she can be shy with the strangers but then she likes all people and likes to play and run. She needs time to get used and trust you (new people)
Attitude towards cats – good with cats.
Preferable residence – it doesn’t matter, the main thing for her is to be loved, fed, walked and patted often. She adores people and need their love and care! Now she lives at the foster place and doesn’t spoil anything or destroy. Likes dogs toys to chew.
Owner preference – Fits perfectly in any family, or families with children, other dogs and cats
History, particularities – she was found on the street in winter 2013. She was sick (had a flu). One of our volunteer gave her a temporary home. Since the beginning of winter 2013 she has been living at the foster place who cares cats and dogs and she is perfectly with them. So we do not know her background for sure (probably she was born from the stray dog). The only one thing we can tell – she is very kind dog, she adores people and very good with other dogs but can be shy for the first meeting with strangers. She needs to be under your protection, she is very tender dog. She needs your love and care. She can be a very good friend for the whole family! She looks like a Shepherd cross breed but she is not a shepherd at all. Her character is very good. She is young dog and you can teach her and give your love to her kind heart!
