I saw Kora in early morning next to the station when I had gone to visit my mother. The dog was lying in the corner curled up and was shivering with cold. The weather was awful. It was wet snowing and the dog was all wet. She had got yellow strap instead of a collar. I bent over her and she feeling the human warm pressed over my leg. I petted her on the head and went home for the leash. I decided for myself: if she went with me on the leash, I would take her with me and try find new owners for her but if she did not go she would stay in the street. But the dog went on the leash with pleasure. She felt that she was going home. She went proudly with her head up. At that day I had to postpone the trip to mother.
As I had got other dogs in my home I should see her behavior. My dogs were calm seeing her in our home and she was glad seeing them. It seemed that my dogs thought that Zhastin had returned who flied to Holland 4 days ago. So Kora stayed in my home. I called her Cora because she reminded me of my dog Cary who had been adopted by Hermina in Holland. My Cora looked like Cary. Cora had got smooth black wool, and the end of the tail there was a white spot. But Cora is taller then Cary. Cora is sometimes calm and sometimes joyful. She is very kind and is very curious. I am writing this story about her and she is trying to get into my arms and look what I am writing.
I think that Cora has been thrown away by her previous owners in the countryside after the end of summer.
She likes to eat very much. She eats everything I give to her: dry food, wet food from cans, porridge with meat and vegetables, chicken, yogurt, bread, fruits. She walks well on the leash paying attention nor on cars, nor on bicycles. Walking in the street she goes with her head up as though saying “I have got an owner, I am not a stray dog”. Seeing other dogs she runs to them to get friends. She is good with middle children. She had not met little children yet. When guests come to my place she tries to lick them on the nose as though they had been friends for a hundred of years. It will be good for her to live in any family, a big or a small but with children by all means. In this case she won`t be boring. Cora has not met cats so we can`t say how she gets along with them. She likes to plays toys. She lies down on back and bits the toy throwing up it.
Cora usually walks with my dogs outside not far my house. She makes pi-pi only outside. She sleeps well at night and wakes up not earlier then 7 o`clock a.m. She is good in a car, she is not sick. She sits or lie waiting when we are at the place and she is able to walk. When I went shopping my dogs stay at home alone for several hours and Cora waits for my return with them. I am sure she is good staying at home alone. It will be good if Cora lives in a private house or on a farm with another one or two dogs. They will be good friends. She will take care over the horses.
