Update november 2019:
Afgelopen zomer 2019 heeft Clark de maanden doorgebracht in onze zomer dacha. Samen met onze worker leefde hij daar het goede leven, met meerdere honden, mooie wandelingen, lekker eten en slapen.

Clark is perfect in huis. Hij slaapt veel, 2x per dag een wandeling is voldoende, perfect zindelijk. Hij trekt niet aan de lijn, hoewel dit in het begin even anders was: nieuwe omgeving is om te ontdekken volgens Clark. Na een paar dagen is de opwinding over het nieuwe voorbij en is hij kalm en relax.

Ondanks zijn positieve leven op onze dacha met meerdere honden is er wel een puntje. Clark is voorzichtig met nieuwe honden. Hij lijkt er tikje bang voor en uit voorzorg gromt hij als hij vreemde honden ziet. Bij een ferm ‘neen, zwijg’ stopt hij daar meteen mee. Hij geeft geen grom uit dominantie; mocht een andere hond namelijk tegen hem beginnen te blaffen, dan wil hij meteen wegrennen.

Clark is enorm aanhankelijk naar zijn baas, kalm, luistert erg goed. Het is geen hond die met andere honden wil spelen. Ideaal zou dus een omgeving zijn zonder hondenvriendjes reeds in huis. Zou er reeds een hond aanwezig zijn die de hondentaal perfect spreekt, dan kan dit een 100% match zijn. Wij denken aan een rustige reeds aanwezige hond die ook op zich zelf is. Gezien het leven op de dacha kan Clark hier perfect mee leven. Maar geen hondenvriendje aanwezig, zou meer perfect zijn.

Clark is een stabiele kalme hond, perfect in huis, Gewend aan wandelingen op straat. Niet bang voor geluiden, totaal niet schrikachtig. Een super lieve hond waar je enorm van gaat houden.

Voor Clark zou het het allerbeste zijn, om in een rustige omgeving te komen wonen waar hij niet op elke straathoek een voor hem nieuwe hond tegenkomt. Clark is dol op mensen, nu woont hij op een appartement maar een tuin slaat hij niet af, lekker wandelen met zijn baas en daarna lekker relaxen. Clark vraagt niet veel. Na jaren asiel zou Clark enorm gelukkig worden van die ene baas waar hij samen oud mee kan worden.

Stoere lieve super optimist!

Super optimist Clark was ooit een huishond en is door onverklaarbare reden op straat terecht gekomen. Daar moest hij leren overleven en jaargetijden trotseren. Hij leefde in de buurt van een café en ging op gasten af voor voer en een aai. Toen andere honden ook doorkregen dat er in de buurt van het café eten te vinden was, werd het erg gevaarlijk voor hem. Hij werd herhaaldelijk aangevallen en verwond. Een echtpaar heeft Clark daar weggehaald en naar de dierenarts gebracht. Omdat ze hem zelf niet konden houden is hij naar het asiel gebracht. Daar wacht hij geduldig op zijn nieuwe baasje. Clark is een overlever en weet zeker dat ook hij op een dag de asieldeuren voorgoed achter zich kan sluiten.

Clark is een actieve, energieke en ondernemende hond. Hij denkt altijd dat het verderop interessanter is; als hij een spoortje vindt gaat hij letterlijk zijn neus achterna. Aan het begin van de wandeling zal hij uit enthousiasme trekken maar zal na een tijdje uw tempo aanhouden. Clark is bijzonder slim en heeft heel snel door wat u van hem wilt. Hij kent inmiddels ook enkele commando’s en is zindelijk (hij wordt 3x daags uitgelaten). Hij vindt hondenspeeltjes ook super leuk en achter balletjes aanrennen doet hij ook graag. Houdt u van flinke, avontuurlijke wandelingen dan is stoere, lieve Clark uw hond!

Houding tov volwassenen: Goed. Clark is niet verlegen maar ook niet opdringerig. Hij is graag bij zijn baasje in de buurt en wordt dan graag aangehaald. Zijn manier om affectie te tonen is op zijn achterpoten staan en de voorpoten in uw handen te leggen.

Houding tov kinderen: Goed met kinderen ouder dan 10 jaar.

Houding tov andere honden: Hij is wat behoedzaam naar honden die hij niet kent.

Houding tov katten: Onbekend.

Kan alleen zijn: Onbekend.

Gezondheid: Clark is gevaccineerd, gechipt, gecastreerd en heeft een dierenpaspoort.

3. Appearance. Clark is a young energetic half-breed with interesting tricolor color, short, dense wool, undercoat poorly developed. Color – white-rarely-speckled with large black-and-red spots (an open tricolor with a prune: on the main white large black-and-red spots on the head and back, and a small dark gray patch on the sides and a reddish prick on the face). Around the dark brown eyes and on the head on the sides, including on the ears, light brown, almost red spots, ears hanging, tail pipe. A very cute, proportionally folded dog with a noble bearing characteristic posture and an easy graceful gait, alternating with playful jumps and mischievous jogging. Chest wide, paws strong. He loves wagging his tail, rising to his full height on his hind legs, neatly, almost carefully, leaning on the man’s hand in front.

Clark is a young dog with an unhappy fate. It can be clearly stated that his life began at home, on a cozy couch, but in an evil accident, turned into a dangerous thriller. He had to learn how to survive on the street, and in the rain, and in the heat and cold, at night, sleeping on the ground in a dug on the roadside without a roof over his head, and begging at the roadside cafe for visiting visitors during the day. Constantly ask for food – but in a naturally noble manner – leisurely and gracefully, slightly bouncing, and rhythmically with the movements of the paws, shaking his head from side to side, running up to one traveler, then to another. But even such a scant life on the verge of survival was threatened, when strong aggressive dogs tried to survive into the territory near the cafe, also tried to survive in a dangerous flock. After another skirmish with a stronger, and most importantly, numerous enemy, the chances of survival in the wounded, bleeding Clark remained little. But Clark’s guiding star suddenly lit over him, and the rescue suddenly came in the form of a car parked near the cafe. A passing couple of middle-aged people who were passing by plunged Clark into a car completely entrusted to them and took him to a veterinary clinic, and then, unfortunately, unable to leave him, in the shelter for dogs. And now in a shelter loyal to his guiding star, Clark patiently awaits inevitable changes in his destiny – a change for the better. And if today the changes have not occurred, then Clarke is sure that this does not mean that they will not come tomorrow!

9. Character – general temperament – sociable, affectionate, obedient, calm, balanced and active, energetic, cheerful and inquisitive at the same time. Sports, likes to discover something new every day, is prone to adventure. It is oriented to man, fully and willingly adapts to people. Easily and with pleasure learns new commands. Despite the sadness in his eyes, Clark by nature is an incorrigible optimist! Every time you open the door of his enclosure in the shelter, there is a feeling that Clark was waiting for you and was sure that you will come for him today to take him for good. He happily breaks off his mattress and runs for a walk, forgetting about a long wait, as if deciding for himself that, as he always thought, there was a change for the better. On a walk, at first he loves mischievous jumping from side to side and running, and prefers to set the pace himself, and after a quick warm-up he easily walks on a leash, and although he offers his route and stopping points, but does not insist, but listens with pleasure . After a walk calmly returns to the enclosure and obediently takes its place. Clark fully trusts the person and obediently accepts the rules of behavior established by man.
Among the minuses: He takes a great interest in unfamiliar smells and, led by them, imperceptibly for itself is able to escape for the big distance. The phrase “What is there around the bend?” – it’s like Clark.

10. Attitude towards adults – people are not afraid, not a coward, benevolent, no aggression, very contact, flexible, enjoys communication with a man who loves to be stroked and caressed, while walking a part of the route likes to go sideways to the leg of a person.

11. Attitude towards children – he treats children well, is suitable for families with children older than 10 years.

12. Attitude to other males and female – the new dogs are cautious, the non-dominant bitches are reluctant, but can take in their environment.

15. As he walks on a leash – to the leash is accustomed, actively expresses the joy of the forthcoming walk and mischievously jumps from side to side. Having spent energy, walks quietly. Easy to manage. He prefers active rest. It is easy to train. Quickly grasps, after several repetitions remembers forever.
