Chris lijkt op een Corgi maar dan hoog op de pootjes. Chris zit in het asiel sinds 2013. Hij kwam daar als ‘teenager’ dat hij ongeveer een jaar was. Hij is nu volwassen maar gedraagt zich nog steeds als een blij kind. Chris heeft een aparte gewoonte; als hij loopt maakt hij aparte geluidjes alsof hij tegen u praat. Hij wil dan aandacht. Als hij die aandacht en een aaitje krijgt, loopt hij intens tevreden weg. Na een tijdje komt hij natuurlijk weer terug en herhaalt het ritueel zich. Op het eerste gezicht lijkt het of Chris een beetje sluw uit zijn (prachtige) ogen kijkt. Schijn bedriegt want in werkelijkheid is hij echt zo zachtaardig en trouw. Chris loopt netjes aan de lijn en kent de basis-commando’s ‘hier’ en ‘nee’.
Houding tov volwassenen: Altijd blij als hij mensen ziet. Hij rent, speelt en hij heeft je lief als een kind. Hij heeft een prachtig karakter en is erg gehoorzaam. Hij houdt van knuffelen. Als de vrijwilligster zijn rug aait, gaat hij er heel dankbaar doodstil voor staan. Van nature is het een actieve, communicatieve hond die constant contact zoekt met zijn vrijwilligster. Goedaardig naar alle mensen.
Houding tov kinderen: We hebben niet kunnen testen hoe Chris op kleine kinderen reageert. We adviseren hem te plaatsen bij iets oudere kinderen (vanaf 10 jaar).
Houding tov andere honden: Hij is goed met andere honden, teefjes en reutjes. Zoekt nooit het conflict op. Maar als er een hond naar hem gromt, zal hij antwoord geven.
Houding tov katten: Onbekend.
Kan goed alleen zijn: onbekend
Gezondheid: Chris is gevaccineerd, gecastreerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Voorkeur woonomgeving: geen voorkeur
Voorkeur adoptanten: geen voorkeur. Chris kan als tweede hond in een gezin geplaatst worden maar dan wel bij een teefje.
Chris lives in a shelter from 2013. Came there as a year-old teenager. very nice and cute dog. Attractive face like a Corgi, but he’s on high legs.
Now he has grown up, but still behaves like a teenager. Always glad to meet with people. Runs, plays and caress as a child.
Chris is very good-natured and obedient dog. He loves to snuggle. He stands very quite and grateful when his volunteer stroke and pat his back. He has an interesting habit – he walks, runs, and a little cheeps as if something or speaks thus attracts attention. When he gets yout attention and tender, he runs away very satisfied, but be sure he comes back after some time for a new portion of affection. Chris has very beautiful eyes. Good, but a little crafty, cunning eyes. But this is only at first glance. He is so kind and trusting dog.
He is friendly with other dogs: female and male. Does not come on conflicts. But, if someone growl at him, he can answer. Eats dry food, canned, dog’s snacks.
By the nature he is active, communicative dog, constantly in dialogue with the volunteer. Friendly with all the people, we do not test his reaction on small children and cats. Chasing rats, birds on the street. Good walks on a leash, Knows the most primitive commands: “Come to me”, “No”. Quite rides in a car. We do not know if he can stay home alone, and we don’t know his situation with toilet outside, and reaction on toys.
He may be the second dog in a family, but it is desirable to take him to a female dog. Better in own house with a territory.
