Brown is very people oriented. An almost ideal dog. Brown is very sociable and affectionate. But does not like it when some one takes liberty with him. He behaves well when at home. He does not chew or tear things. We have nor heard him barking. He is not intrusive. He will be at your side if you call him and stay in his place if you are busy with something else. He is very tender and very responsive to kindness. But he will keep to himself if put under pressure. Some dogs do not really mind being reproached or even punished. It does not work with Brown like that as he will take offense. It is possible to get anything out of him if to treat him in a positive and supportive way. Frankly there is nothing he can be punished for. It is important that his owners are not tough people.
Brown is friendly with cats and dogs. Walks well on a leash. Behaves quietly in a car, does not get sick.
Brown was found on a street, then taken to the municipal shelter and almost immediately from the shelter to a foster family. He is still with this foster family that looks well after him but he is looking for a permanent home. Now he is absolutely ready for that. He sleeps on a sofa, eats dry food and also fond of meat, chicken and canned food. Brown will benefit from a friendly environment, probably a family with other pets. He is a very clever dog, a quick learner. He will also benefit from training but not active or sporty. He should rather be trained for a therapy-dog if his owners decide to do it. He can equally live in a house or in an apartment. He does not need long walks but will not refuse them. He is very fond of home comfort and prefers to enjoy sleeping on a sofa or lying by the fire-place. He is not very much disposed to active games.
