Hier na paar weken een andere hond geworden…. nieuwe naam Bo en geen wantrouwen meer. Ook ‘s nachts geen schrik meer.
Liefde geven =liefde krijgen.
In februari 2019 besloten zijn baasjes hem af te staan, omdat ze geen tijd meer voor hem hadden en hij hele dagen alleen was. Sinds die tijd is Bonya in een opvanggezin. Hij is medisch onderzocht, gecastreerd en er is een bultje bij hem weggehaald. Hij had daar wat last van en het bleek gelukkig goedaardig.
Houding tov volwassenen: Bonya heeft duidelijk voorkeuren als het om mensen gaat en als hij éénmaal besloten heeft om vrienden te zijn dan is dat onvoorwaardelijk. Hij is wel vriendelijk naar iedereen, maar heeft soms buien en wordt dan niet graag aangehaald. Hij heeft ook wat moeite met de trimster en het aan- en afdoen van zijn tuigje.
Houding tov kinderen: Omdat hij soms wat humeurig is wordt Bonya niet bij kinderen geplaatst.
Houding tov andere honden: Bonya is niet geïnteresseerd in soortgenoten en voor hem is het beter enig huisdier te zijn.
Houding tov katten: Onbekend
Kan alleen zijn: Goed.
Autorijden: Goed. Bonya gaat rustig liggen slapen of kijkt wat naar buiten.
Gezondheid: Bonya is gevaccineerd, gecastreerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Voorkeur woonomgeving: Geen voorkeur.
Voorkeur adoptanten: Bonya is het best op zijn plek bij een alleenwonend iemand of koppel zonder kinderen en andere huisdieren.
Bonya was born in 2012 and is a typical Yorkshire Terrier. He has no undercoat and almost doesn’t molt, the fur is silky, smooth and is similar to human hair. Weight – 4 kg, height – 26 cm, neck – 21 cm, chest – 36 cm, stomach – 33 cm. Bonya is castrated and has no problems with health.
In February 2019 the owners of Bonya decided to leave him because they didn’t have time to take care of the dog and Bonya was spending the whole days absolutely alone. Since 12/02/2019 he’s been living in a foster home. 12/03/2019 Bonya had a medical survey (analysis, ultrasound diagnostic, checking the heart, etc.) and everything was alright. 15/03/2019 he’s been castrated. Bonya also had a papilloma on the withers which made him feel a bit of uncomfortable, that’s why 11/05/2019 it was removed. The histology showed that the tumor was benign.
Bonya is self-independent, active and likes long walks. When he’s in a good mood, loves to get attention and caress, but if Bonya is out of mood, wants nobody to disturb him. The dog eats dry food (Royal Canin currently) and likes dainties.
Bonya walks twice a day and has no toilet problems, during walks he likes running ahead. There’re no problems with staying alone at home. Some people attract Bonya more and he’s very sociable with them. Anyway, Bonya is friendly to any person. He hates any procedure connected to touching head, neck and front legs, so cutting, wearing and taking a harness off should be careful. Otherwise your hand can be bitten.
Bonya indifferent to birds and other dogs, plays neither toys, nor with other dogs, we have no information about his reaction on cats. Bonya doesn’t know any commands except “Come here” and “Stop”, has no problems with riding in a car and usually sleeps or watch in a window there. We recommend a family without children for this dog, because Bonya can show teeth, if he’s out of mood and doesn’t want to contact.
