Hierbij alvast nog een paar foto’s en video’s van Balu. We zijn vorige maand naar Frankrijk op reis gegaan en uiteraard gingen de hondjes mee. Het was een vakantie op hondenmaat….samen lekker in de zetel, gaan inlineskaten, gaan joggen. Balu geniet van de aandacht en alle knuffels. Hij kan superenthousiast zijn als hij iets mag doen. Actie daar houdt Balu van samen met zijn broer Bas. Het is een schat van een hond die veel liefde te geven heeft.

Balu his leg is ok. He doesn’t feel any pain. The wound is healing perfectly. He’s very playful with our dog Bas. He likes to walk so we go walking 3 times a day. He’s a very sweet, loyal dog. We love him.
Wij zagen hoe Balu onder een grote auto kwam en we dachten dat hij dit niet zou overleven. Maar er zat deze dag een engeltje op zijn schouder. De auto stond hoog op zijn banden, waardoor Balu “enkel” heen en weer geschud werd. Daarna verdween hij geschrokken en kregen wij hem niet te pakken. Twee uur later vonden wij hem bij een metrostation in Moskou vlakbij de plaats des onheils. Inmiddels zijn wij zes maanden verder en woont Balu bij een vrijwilliger in huis. We weten niet veel over de achtergrond van Balu, maar zijn er vrijwel zeker van dat hij een huishond is geweest.
Hij is erg sociaal, maar wat onzeker in nieuwe situaties. Balu loopt netjes mee aan de riem zonder te trekken. Hij wandelt graag. Momenteel wordt hij twee keer per dag uitgelaten. Hij lijkt niet erg om te kijken naar speetjes. Hij loopt nu liever rond met een leeg pak melk.
Houding tov volwassenen: Balu is vriendelijk naar alle mensen. Hij gaat zonder problemen met eenieder mee wandelen. In een nieuwe omgeving kan dit anders zijn, maar hij zal snel wennen aan de nieuwe situatie.
Houding tov kinderen: Balu zal passen bij een gezin met kinderen maar zal niet staan te springen om met de kinderen te spelen.
Houding tov andere honden: Balu is sociaal naar zowel teefjes, als reuen. Momenteel woont hij in een huis met andere honden. Hij laat geen tekenen van agressie zien en probeert ook niet te vechten. Hij zal wel voor zichzelf opkomen, wanneer dit noodzakelijk is.
Houding tov katten: Balu woont op dit moment samen met andere honden en ook katten. Dit gaat uitstekend. Andere dieren lijkt Balu gewoon te negeren.
Kan alleen zijn: Balu is eigenlijk nooit echt alleen geweest, omdat hij bij de vrijwilliger samenwoont met andere honden en katten. Wanneer zij alleen zijn gaat dit goed.
Autorijden: Balu stapt zonder problemen in en is tijdens het rijden rustig. Meestal slaapt hij tijdens het reizen.
Gezondheid: Goed. Balu is gevaccineerd, gecastreerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Voorkeur woonomgeving: Geen voorkeur. Balu past prima als tweede hond in een gezin. Hij heeft niet heel actief leven nodig.

5. Health – no health problems, dog is healthy. In February 2018 got under the car, but got off with a slight trauma to the hind paw, now it’s all healed, does not limp

7. The history of the dog
We, volunteers, witnessed an auto accident in which Balu got under the big car Jeep, thought that he would die. But Balu was born in a “shirt”. Thanks to the fact that the car is high – Balu rattled between the bottom of the car and the ground and ran away in stress. We could not catch up with him. Two hours later we picked him up near the Metro Prazhskaya in Moscow, near the place of the accident. Since then, it’s almost 6 months (for August 2018), Balu lives with volunteer, her family. Where he lived before Balu – we do not know. But the fact that he lived with people – that’s for sure. Balu is very social, although he is afraid of new places at first.
8. Nutrition – Balu prefers dry food. But with pleasure he eats porridge with meat, natural food.
9. Character – general temperament – Balu is a very calm dog, even too calm. It is cozy and homey. Self-sufficient – your society will not impose you. And he will be easy to lie and contemplate, putting your head on your foot. Adequate, not provocative, friendly with cats and dogs.
10. Attitude towards adults – Friendly with all people, Balu will go on a walk with a stranger without problems. In a new place may not be sure. Then he gets used to it quickly.
11. Attitude towards children – fits good in a family with children, Balu normally refers to games. But Balou’s for children are too calm.
12. Attitude to other males and bitches – with other males and femaless makes friends without problems, does not show aggression, does not provoke fights. But you can stand up for yourself, if that need.

19. Toilet – to order and the order of walks is accustomed, walks twice a day, if you have plenty of time he will join with a pleasure.
20. Toys – a soft toy takes, but more willingly deals with packages of milk, etc.
