Kalme teddybeer Bakksa is op een industrieterrein geboren. Samen met een stel andere pups die zichzelf in leven hielden met de restjes die mensen achterlieten. Omdat er een hele drukke weg in de buurt was zijn een aantal dieren aangereden. Reden voor de vrijwilligers om de pups daar weg te halen en de moeder te steriliseren. Bakksa was ongeveer een half jaar oud toen ze in het asiel belandde en door een vrijwilliger mee naar een kleinschalig asiel genomen. Daar heeft ze zich snel aangepast en is gewend geraakt aan geluiden en de aandacht van mensen. Ze loopt netjes mee aan de lijn, maar als ze iets interessants ziet kan ze wat trekken.
Houding tov volwassenen: Vriendelijk en zachtaardig naar mensen die ze kent en baasgericht. Naar onbekenden is ze wat afwachtend, maar trekt snel bij als ze vriendelijk wordt toegesproken en wat lekkers krijgt. Ze is bang van harde geluiden en gaat dan op de grond liggen.
Houding tov kinderen: Goed met kinderen vanaf 10 jaar. Ze is best een heel beertje en zou kleine kinderen omver kunnen lopen.
Houding tov andere honden: Met voor haar bekende honden speelt ze graag, reutjes of teefjes is haar om het even. Naar onbekende honden kan ze soms grommen.
Houding tov katten: Goed met katten die ze kent; straatkatten wil ze wel achterna gaan.
Kan alleen zijn: Onbekend.
Autorijden: Goed.
Gezondheid: Bakksa is gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.

7. The history of the dog
Bakksa was born on the street, among industrial enterprises. The pups fed on the remains of food that people threw out. As near the house of this dog family passed a busy road, a few grown-up puppies got under the car. The volunteers decided to put the puppies in a safe place, and sterilize their mother. So the six-month-old Bakksa began to live in the shelter under the supervision of a person. For some time Bakksa lived in the apartment of a multi-storey building. At first she sat cautiously under the table, but within three days adapted to the “terrible” products of civilization: the elevator, slamming doors, the car, etc. She learned to walk on the street, to be at home alone and to love a person. Now Bakksa continues to live in an open-air cage with other dogs, and all her brothers and sisters became “domestic” companion dogs.

9. Character – the general temperament – calm, attached to the owner. Fluffy bear dog.
10. Attitude towards adults – with strangers at first meeting is wary. It takes a couple of minuets to rust you when you call her name and give her some snack.
