Alissa werd als pup door een barmhartige vrouw van de straat gehaald. Ze kwam destijds te wonen in een flat met 12 katten en nog een paar pups. Welwillend en kalm ging ze met al haar huisgenootjes om, haar baasje zorgde goed voor haar. Het leven was goed…
Helaas kwam de vrouw te overlijden en moest er voor alle dieren een thuis worden gezocht. Alle katten waren snel voorzien van een nieuw plekje, maar de honden kwamen in het asiel terecht. Alissa verblijft inmiddels drie jaar in een kleinschalige opvang en mijmert over de dagen van weleer waar het leven goed was en ze de nodige aandacht kreeg.
Houding tov volwassenen: Goed. Alissa is een actieve, baasgerichte, niet opdringerige hond die graag aangehaald wordt. Alissa is een hond die eventjes rennen heel leuk vindt, maar als snel weer het gezelschap van haar baasje zoekt. Ze is zindelijk en loopt goed mee aan de lijn. In speeltjes is ze niet echt geïnteresseerd, maar wandelen vindt ze het einde.
Houding tov kinderen: Goed met kinderen vanaf een jaar of 10.
Houding tov andere honden: Goed. Ze benadert onbekende honden kalm en met enige reserve. Als die onvriendelijk zijn zal ze wel van zich afbijten; ze is vriendelijk, maar geen doetje. Ze kan zeker als tweede hond worden geplaatst, bij voorkeur bij een kalme hond.
Houding tov katten: Goed. Alissa leefde samen met 12 katten sinds haar puppy tijd.
