Airis is een zachtaardige, aanhankelijke, leuke gezinshond met een kalm karakter. Airis is geboren in de buurt van een garage. Ze leefde in een roedel van 16 honden die niet gecastreerd waren en er om de haverklap een nestje was. Ook Airis heeft verschillende keren pups gehad. Haar laatste nestje was in augustus 2019. Na deze worp is Airis gesteriliseerd.

Van alle honden die daar rond liepen was Airis de meest sociale. Daarom is besloten haar niet terug te zetten in de roedel maar een opvang voor haar te zoeken. Ze wende heel snel aan de huiselijke omstandigheden en deed het prima. Airis loopt keurig mee aan de lijn en wordt nu 3x daags uitgelaten. Met speeltjes heeft ze niet zo veel – ze heeft nooit geleerd te spelen.

Op een gegeven moment had ze een rare bult in haar nek die door een dierenarts succesvol is verwijderd. Het enige dat herinnert aan dit abces is een litteken waar geen haar op groeit. Ze is overigens geheel genezen en de rest van haar vacht glimt als een spiegel.

Airis heeft al zo veel mee gemaakt in haar jonge leven; honger, kou en het ene na het andere nestje. Ze verdient nu een zorgeloos en liefdevol bestaan.

Houding tov volwassenen: Goed; Airis wordt graag aangehaald, ook door onbekenden.

Houding tov kinderen: Goed met kinderen vanaf 7 jaar. Airis woont momenteel in een gezin met kinderen.

Houding tov andere honden: Goed; ze kan zowel met teefjes als reutjes goed overweg en kan zeker als tweede hond worden geplaatst.

Houding tov katten: Goed, Airis is gewend aan katten.

Kan alleen zijn: Goed, met de aantekening dat ze nu gezelschap heeft van kattenvriendjes. Ze ligt lekker op de bank en maakt niets stuk.

Autorijden: Goed; Airis gaat lekker liggen slapen.

Gezondheid: Airis  is gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.

Voorkeur woonomgeving: Geen.

Voorkeur adoptanten: Geen voorkeur. Voor haar is het belangrijk dat ze bij iemand mag horen die laat weten dat ze er toe doet.

Airis was born on the basis of car repair and other equipment. She lived in a pack of 16 dogs. All of them were not sterilized and constantly bred. Airis also brought puppies several times. The last time she gave birth in August 2019. We added her puppies, and Airis herself was sterilized.

Of all the dogs of this large flock, Airis was the most sociable, and so we decided not to return her to the base and found her an overexposure. So Airis began to live in the house. She acted as if she had been a domestic dog all her life. But a week later she fell ill. A seal appeared on her neck. We took her to the vet, and the vet the lump did not pass, pus began to flow from it. The doctor decided to open the abscess. Airis had surgery, and now she has a scar on her neck. It has healed, but the wool in this place does not grow well. Although this does not spoil the dog.

Airis is a very pretty girl. In the three months she lives at foster, she recovered and grew a long, shiny coat.

Airis behaves perfectly at home, does not spoil anything, likes to sleep on the couch, does not crap.

She is accustomed to a 3-time walk.

Airis is a calm, affectionate, friendly girl. With other dogs, both males and females, it behaves non-aggressively.

With cats, Airis lives in the same house and treats them completely calmly. On the street, Airis walks well on a leash – does not pull, does not bark at other dogs.

Airis is not at all afraid of strangers and children.

Currently lives in a house with children.

Airis rides well by the car – looks out the window or sleeps. She is indifferent to toys, since in childhood no one played with her, and she did not have toys.

Airis is a very affectionate, gentle dog, she loves to be stroked and scratched.

Airis has seen a lot in three years of her life – hunger, cold and constant birth, so we want to find her a family where she will be loved very much.

It can be both elderly people and a young couple with children.

Airis can also live in an apartment or in a house.
