NOVEMBER 2019
In november 2018 liep een roedel jonge honden schaarloos rond in een gebied in de omgeving van Moskou. Ze liepen in de buurt van een zomerhuis en vrijwilligers besloten de honden te helpen. De winter was in aantocht en de pups die destijds ongeveer een half jaartje jong waren werden allemaal gevangen. Sinds die tijd woont Irma in een opvang gezin en doet ze het fantastisch.
Irma heeft duidelijk leiderschapskwaliteiten en heeft een stevige baas nodig, anders neemt ze een loopje met je. Irma is zeer gehoorzaam, zindelijk en loopt netjes mee aan de lijn. Inmiddels kent ze ook al aardig wat commando’s. Ze is gek op traktaties en daardoor heel makkelijk te trainen.
Houding tov volwassenen: Goed; naar onbekenden is ze in het begin wat afwachtend maar haar nieuwsgierigheid neemt al snel de overhand. Als ze mensen meerdere malen heeft ontmoet rent ze daar enthousiast op af.
Houding tov kinderen: Goed, Irma is gek op kinderen en kan prima bij kinderen vanaf een jaar of 7.
Houding tov andere honden: Goed; Irma zal wel proberen om andere honden haar wil op te leggen, maar is goed te corrigeren. Na wat snuffelen zal ze al snel tot spelen overgaan.
Houding tov katten: Goed; Irma is gewend om met katten samen te leven en heeft er niet veel belangstelling voor.
Kan alleen zijn: Goed; Irma jankt niet en blaft niet en als ze, ter afleiding een speeltje heeft maakt ze niets stuk. Irma kan zichzelf uitstekend vermaken.
Autorijden: Goed; Irma is heel rustig tijdens een rit.
Gezondheid: Irma is gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Voorkeur woonomgeving: Geen voorkeur, alhoewel een huis met een tuin wel heel prettig zou zijn.
Voorkeur adoptanten: Irma is een echte gezinshond; ze is prima op een plek in een omgeving met kinderen en andere huisdieren. Ze houdt enorm van spelen dus ook bij een alleenwonend iemand of koppel dat het leuk vindt om met haar bezig te zijn is ze prima op haar plek.

Story of Irma: In November 2018, a flock of dogs ran in Moscow region (around 20 km far from Moscow), not far from a summer cottage and village. Volunteer’s decided to help dogs to find new homes. Winter time was coming and we had to urgently catch and take away animals from there. Six-month-old puppies, including Irma, were caught. At the time of capture, she was about 7 months old. Since November 2018 Irma is living at foster place and shows a perfect behavior and character!
Food – no allergies detected. She likes everything: dry food, and canned food and meat with porridge. For goodies can learn any team.
Character: leadership qualities prevail in character, she needs a firm hand, otherwise she’ll quickly break up. She treats strangers calmly, gets along well with children, likes to play.
Attitude to adults: at first a little incredulous, but attentive. Irma reaches out to people and quickly gets used to the new environment. Rejoices to familiar people, immediately recognizes. Very friendly.
Attitude towards children: loves children of any age. Can stay in any family with kids.
Attitude to other dogs: since Irma is a leader by nature, the first time she will try to establish her own rules and will want to take a leading position. But it is easy to control, as she clearly listens to the orders of the person. After sniffing at other dogs, begins to play.

How to walk on a leash: good, does not pull.
Teams: specially trained teams. Can give a paw. For goodies quickly learns.
