DARCY IS GEADOPTEERD
Scooters, een druk winkelcentrum, onweer, blaffende honden; het is ver beneden zijn stand om daarop te reageren. Als hij daarentegen ’s nachts buiten iets hoort, hoor je heel zachtjes “grrrrr”. En ook daar heb je aan een kort stemcommando genoeg. Hoewel hij nog maar kort in Nederland is (mei 2016), loopt hij buiten los en luistert goed.
Darcy is voor een Rus relatief groot: 60 cm hoog en met een flinke borstomvang. Hij moet nog wat afvallen, maar wie goed kijkt ziet er wel wat van het oude type “molosser” in. Dat klopt ook met zijn karakter: onverstoorbaar maar wel betrokken, lief voor zijn eigen mensen, maar oplettend naar vreemden op zijn terrein. Zijn nieuwe baasje moet daar wel op letten en bij voorkeur wat ervaring mee hebben. Hetzelfde geldt voor zijn kinderen. Hij is verschrikkelijk relaxed maar juist omdat hij zo gek is op zijn eigen gezin, moet zijn nieuwe baasje daar bij bezoek van andere kinderen goed op letten.
Welke Elizabeth (m/v) met voldoende karakter om ook zijn waakse trekjes in goede banen te leiden, geeft Mr. Darcy haar/zijn jawoord? Mail snel.
Houding tov volwassenen: Deze echte mensen-huis-hond is goedmoedig en rustig in huis. Hij kan goed traplopen en wil graag bij zijn familie horen. Zo graag, dat hij bij vreemden aan de deur of aan de poort aanslaat, maar met één keer “Darcy, genoeg” is het ook weer over.
Houding tov kinderen: Hij is ongelooflijk geduldig en rustig met kleine kinderen. Hopelijk hoeven we niet uit te leggen dat hoe geduldig Darcy ook is, kleine kinderen sowieso nooit mogen sollen met honden.
Houding tov andere honden: Andere teefjes vindt hij leuk, met reuen kijkt hij eerst even of de andere reu ook een gentleman is. Zo niet, dan gaat hij een conflict liever uit de weg.
Houding tov katten: Goed. Hij speelt met katten.
Kan goed alleen zijn: goed
Gezondheid: Darcy is gevaccineerd, gecastreerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Voorkeur woonomgeving: geen voorkeur.
Voorkeur adoptanten: de voorkeur gaat uit naar baasjes die wat ervaring hebben met dit type hond.
De adoptiebijdrage voor Darcy is 350,00 euro. Voor dit bedrag heeft u een prachtige, lieve, unieke en mooie hond die ook nog eens gechipt, gevaccineerd en gecastreerd is. Dit is inclusief de reis van Moskou naar Nederland en de bijdrage voor de verplichte veterinaire controle.

Attitude towards adults – good, very fond of care, affection and tenderness. He likes to be in a company of people very much. He adores people. He is a friendly and communicative dog. Not intrusive. Perfectly on the leash. Very much focused on a person. Needs care and love.
Attitude towards children – good for the family with adult children, has a good character, kind and friendly dog.
Attitude towards other dogs – he is very good with female dogs, friendly, full of joy. He likes walking and running with dogs and playing but not crazy about all of this. We would say that he has a good brains. He can be a second or third dog in a family (better female dogs). Shows no dominance. He can be good with male dogs also but not with every male dog (he likes to run for a male dog). But if he has a good contact with a male dog – they can become forever friends! Not every male dog can become his friend. He wants to be respected by other dogs. But he is always full of joy and likes to play with other dogs! Very positive!
Attitude towards cats – good, likes to play with cats, never hurts.
Preferable residence – it doesn’t matter, the main thing for him is to be loved, fed, walked and patted often. But we would love to find for him a family with a house with a garden or the farm with other dogs
Owner preference – Fits perfectly in any family, or families with adult children, and dogs
History, particularities – first of all he has one ear, in his youth he had a violence by bad people, they cut his ear. But it does not prevent him to feel and live a full life! His story is sad. He was found in spring without one ear, it hurted him and he was very upset, felt terrible, has a temperature, he was found in a village close to Moscow. One of our volunteer couldn’t leave him there because understood that he could die. She saved his life and gave him a temporary home. He lives at the foster family now who cares lots of cats (10) and 3 dogs ( females dogs). He is a good domestic pet. Nothing spoil. Shows a good behavior. He likes to play with sticks and ball with other dogs. Perfectly on the leash. Has a good character and a big soul! He is very much focused on a person. The main for him – is to be near the person. He listens you very well, feels your mood. He likes long walking’s with other dogs, likes to discover the would and sniffing everything new. He perfectly fits in any family. The most important for him is to be loved. He is waiting his best Master and hope that his Master will find him very soon! He needs to communicate with a person!
