Hoi allemaal,

Hierbij een update over onze lieve Venna (Vesna). Ze is nu ongeveer 1,5 maand bij ons en ik kan wel zeggen dat we smoorverliefd zijn. Wat een lieverd is dit. We hebben al veel leuke dingen gedaan. Naar het bos, het strand, varen en spelen en ravotten met de andere honden uit de familie. Elke dag zien we het zelfvertrouwen van Venna een beetje groeien. De angst om weer weg te moeten lijkt langzaam wat minder te worden. Venna vindt het heerlijk om te rennen en samen in het bos of park te sporten, maar is ook een ontzettende knuffelkont. Het liefst zit ze tussen ons in op de bank, zodat ze extra veel aandacht krijgt. En is er geen plekje, dan zorgt ze wel dat die wordt gemaakt door subtiel met haar pootje aan te geven dat ze er toch echt tussen moet. Kortom: het gaat hier super. We zijn dolblij met Venna die nu officieel deel uitmaakt van ons gezinnetje van 3.

Samen met nog een ander hondenvriendje woonde Vesna heerlijk in de Brabantse provincie. Echter, twee honden werd te druk voor de familie. Vesna woont nu bij een ervaring foster gezin van MyMartin – met wederom een hondenvriendje en nog veel meer dieren. Wij gaan op zoek naar een nieuwe warme mand voor deze Russische hond.

Ze is in de lente van 2017 als pup gevonden te Moscow en door een gezin mee naar huis genomen. Helaas bleek één van de kinderen allergisch en Vesna verhuisde naar iemand die “goed” voor haar zorgen zou. Helaas een loze belofte; ze zwierf meer over straat dan dat ze bij die persoon in huis was en Vesna zat onder de vlooien en plekjes. Een vrijwilligster heeft haar toen in huis genomen en daar is ze snel opgeknapt.

Vesna de ideale hond voor iemand die een makkelijk middelgroot gezellig hondje zoekt om vooral lekker mee te wandelen. Ze is lief, sociaal, vrolijk, speels (balspel als ze er zin in heeft), aanhankelijk, niet snel onder de indruk van prikkels, waakt (even blaffen), kan met katten, paarden, honden, vindt de auto leuk. Ze benadert mensen uitermate vriendelijk, in het begin een tikkeltje bescheiden.  Ze loopt netjes mee aan de lijn; als iets heel interessant is kan ze wat trekken. Ze kent ook al enkele commando’s. Ze zou heel geschikt zijn om mee op cursus/ hondensport te gaan.

Heeft Vesna dan echt geen enkel minpuntje? Ze heeft erg veel interesse in eekhoorns, konijnen. Dat betekent dat een nieuwe eigenaar zeer voorzichtig moet zijn met loslopen en moet accepteren dat dat er voorlopig enkel in zit in een veilig omheind gebied.

Vesna maak je blij met lekkere wandelingen en knuffels. Vesna zal jou blij maken met haar opgewekte makkelijke aanhankelijkheid.

3. Appearance, individuality – mix of stray dogs. Short hair, black color, with white breast and white socks on paws.
4. Weight is17kg, the size at the withers is 55 cm.
5. Health – the dog is healthy.
6. Castration / sterilization: sterilized. Chipped. Vaccinated.

In the spring of 2017, people could not pass by unknown where the funny black puppy appeared near their house and took him home. The puppy turned out to be a girl and got the name Vesna or affectionately Vesnushka. But the dog’s happiness did not last long – the child had an allergy, and the grown-up puppy was tried to put in good hands. Freckles agreed to take the watchman of the local parking lot, promised to vaccinate and sterilize. Three months passed, for which none of the promises were fulfilled. And the spring was often seen wandering around the yards and picking up scraps in the garbage dumps. In December 2017 with a diarrhea and vomiting unhappy dog was taken from the street. Freckles were cured, processed from fleas and worms, inoculated, sterilized and chipped. Vesna was very lucky, a very kind and friendly family took it over.
From the incoherent pesky teenager, skinny, dirty, downtrodden and ill, Vesna turned into a very beautiful young dog. Despite all the hardships that have fallen on her, Vesna has remained the character of the former cheerful and affectionate puppy, an active and curious creature that loves everyone around – other dogs and cats, adults and children of any age. She easily and with pleasure studies “dog science”, learns to behave correctly at home and in the street. She is happy to play with toys. Vesna calmly behaves in crowded places, including in veterinary clinics, easily tolerates the procedures for caring for her. And any attention and affection takes with great joy.
Vesna really wants to find a family that will give her a real home forever, will continue her education and will be proud of her successes. She will never offend or betray.

8. Food: Vesna eats dry food, natural food, will not give up delicacies, the allergy is not revealed.

9. Character: very affectionate and benevolent, moderately active and obedient, easily trained,
quickly attached to a person, but absolutely unobtrusive.

10. Attitude towards adults: affectionate and contact, but unobtrusive, very friendly and playful.

11. Attitudes towards children: 100% friendly to children of any age. Now lives in a family with children of the age 2, 12 and 17 years old.

12. Attitude to other males and bitches: friendly to any dogs, regardless of gender and age, absolutely not aggressive, with pleasure playing with them.

13. Attitude to cats. Lives in the family with a cat and other animals.

14. Attitude to other animals: the animals do not pay attention to other types of attention. Sometimes she drives pigeons on the street.

15. As she walks on a leash: accustomed to the leash, walks around quietly, if she is interested in something, she can pull a little. Not crazy pulling.

16. Does any team know: clearly knows the commands “sit”, “give a paw,” “give another,” master the command “to me,” very smart, easy to learn. Commands in Russian.

17. How she drives in the car: unknown yet

18. Can she stay alone at home: do not bark, do not howl. Due to a curious nature, one can show interest in shoes, open wires. Not indifferent to food from the human diet, as well as to the cat food, which are in its accessibility.

19. Toilet: walks two or three times a day, does not spoil the apartment.

20. Toys: likes to play toys, really like plastic bottles.

21. Wishes for the hosts: Suitable for any family, incl. and with young children.
