Lieve mensen in Rusland en Nederland van MyMartin.
Shurikk is nu 5 weken bij ons thuis. Toen we Shurikk voor het eerst ontmoetten viel ons op hoe goed verzorgd hij eruit zag. Keurige geknipte nagels, voetzooltjes zonder haren, alles met heel veel liefde en aandacht gedaan.
Wat hebben jullie ons een geweldig lieve en aanhankelijke hond gegeven. Het lijkt alsof hij altijd al bij ons was terwijl hij 6 jaar oud is en heel lang in het asiel was. Hij moet wel heel veel liefde en aandacht van jullie hebben gehad, dat kan niet anders.
Shurikk luistert prima en als we in het bos wandelen let hij goed op waar wij zijn. Eén roepen en hij komt direct.
Shurikk is nu een hoop spanning kwijt en we denken dat hij zich blij en gelukkig bij ons gaat voelen. Hij eet prima en is een rustige eter. Spelletjes doen vindt Shurikk erg leuk. Een lekker botje thuis verstoppen en hem laten speuren is favoriet. Hij is heel erg aanhankelijk en op mensen gericht. Precies wat wij zochten.
We kunnen echt zeggen: onze droom is uitgekomen dankzij jullie goede zorgen. Dat jullie Shurikk hebben uitgekozen om naar Nederland te kunnen komen is een groot geschenk voor ons.
We bedanken iedereen die voor Shurikk gezorgd heeft, hem heeft gevoed, hem heeft uitgelaten, hem heeft geknuffeld en hem heeft gesocialiseerd en hem zoveel liefde heeft gegeven.

Op een dag zat Shurikk gewoon in het asiel. Gezien zijn houding waarschijnlijk ooit een huishond geweest. Hij geniet als de vrijwilligster hem komt halen voor een wandeling, zijn staart maakt overuren als hij wordt aangehaald. Dat is helaas voor hem maar één keer per week.
En nu is Shurikk in Nederland. Zonder trauma’s, ongecompliceerd, vrolijk kwispelend stapte hij uit de vliegtuig bench.
Op dit moment is het fostergezin druk bezig met hem kennis te laten maken met het huiselijke leven in Nederland. Shurikk is niet snel van zijn stuk gebracht en leert snel. Eten doet hij rustig, zijn behoefte doet hij buiten en hij sloopt niet. Hij kan ook rustig alleen thuis zijn. Tot nu toe toont hij geen overmatige interesse in katten. Shurikk kent nog niet zo veel commando’s, maar is leergierig en heeft een grote ‘will to please’.
Een duidelijke, standvastige baas zal veel plezier hebben aan deze geweldige jongen. Buiten vindt hij wandelen de beste tijdsbesteding van de dag, binnen is dat rustig naast je liggen.
Hij heeft geen problemen met andere honden, maar zijn baas… die wil hij niet delen.
Shurikk is ondanks zijn jarenlange asiel ervaring echt een mensenhond; als je maar dichtbij bent, dan is het goed.
Shurikk verblijft in omgeving Gouda bij een fostergezin en is op afspraak te bezoeken.

3. Appearance – mix of stray dogs, male dog, with a warm heart. We think used to be a domestic pet.
4. Weight is approximately 23 kg, height is 62cm
5. Health – healthy, any health problems did not notice, excellent appetite, immunity
6. Castration / Sterilization – neutered .
7 The history of the dog …. Shurikk …. simple stray dog. We dont know his background and he will never tell us his story unfortunately. Now Shurikk lives in a shelter. We think that he was once home. What happened we dont know.
8. Nutrition – Likes everything, all food, dry and natural. Adores dogs snacks.
9. Character – general temperament – in spite of the fact that Shurikk is a big dog, he is quite active, very, very fond of walks with which he is deprived at the shelter. Adores people, is attached to his master. I believe that his best master will find him very soon. This dog deserves to become a pet!
10. Attitude towards adults – friendly with all people, Shurikk is a dog without any complexes, go for a walk with any person, always in a good mood and very positive, he understands that life is too short and it means that you should live to the max!
11. Attitude towards children – good to become a member in a family with adult children, can be squeezed
12. Attitude to other males and bitches – with other males and bitches makes friends without problems, does not show aggression, very friendly and positive, ready to join any pack if the pack is welcome to him
13. Attitude towards cats – unknown, we prefer a family without cats

15. As he walks on a leash – excellent walks on the leash, very fond of short walks with volunteers, go back into the aviary does not always want and we can understand him because he walks only once a week when his volunteers come to visit him
16. Does any team know – the team does not know, but obeys. Easy trainable
17. How to drive in a car – unknown yet. In plans to be checked.
18. Can he stay at home alone – unknown yet, the dog lives in the shelter. For sure we can say that he does not spoil anything inside his aviary, intelligent dog
19. The toilet – outside when his volunteer walks with him, all toilet outside his aviary
20. Toys – if the volunteers are around, then he prefers to connect with a person. Basically, more or less self-sufficient. He can play himself. Not intrusive
21. Wishes for the owners – fits the second dog in the family, now in the shelter he lives in the cage with a male dog, on a shelter walks in the presence of other dogs without any problems, absolutely good
22. Wishes at the place of residence – it does not matter, any cozy home will be glad for him. We would love to see him free and happy!
