OKTOBER 2021

Vandaag Polly officieel geadopteerd!! Maar dat ik haar niet meer kwijt wilde wist ik al op 17 september toen ze mee ging voor proeflogeren.

I saw Polly on Facebook, she was part of a dogs’ pack and one of her “brothers” has already found a home in Europe in a nice and loving family. Polly had puppies when was a stray dog but we know nothing about them, she also spent some time in a municipal shelter that was not a nice home for her at all. After the shelter she lived in quite bad conditions for about 3-4 months, she was not eager to get in contact as none was looking after her much. When Polly got into her second foster family, it took her almost a year to get accustomed to it and now she is very fond of her foster mother.

Polly loves hugs and tenderness, when she hears soft voices she starts to trust. In general, she is a family dog, does not need other people, she prefers to live in her own world that is warm, cosy, where she is loved. Outside world is kind of a danger for her and she is not eager to go there. Surely, her stray life with its constant fight for survival shaped up such an attitude. Not all the dogs are so touchy but Polly is, very gentle and sensitive.

Polly rides well in car, does not get sick at all. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She sleeps in bed embracing her mother.

Polly is a young girl about 3 years old (approximate date of birth summer-autumn 2018). She is rather small, about 45 cm tall and weighs about 18 kg. Polly looks a bit like a beagle, we think she has some of that blood in her. She is neutered, vaccinated, walks well on a leash, is regularly treated for all parasites. Polly needs a family that will accept her as she is and where people will not be forcing her to change. As a response to care and kindness she will quite quickly fall in love with her people and show her response. Polly is a beautiful dog, impressive, soft and plush. She eats dry food, loves canned food, beef and turkey. If I did not have so many dogs, I would love to keep Polly. With all my heart I wish her to find her own people, her family where she will be understood and loved.
