Parker voelt zich thuis.
Het asiel was voor Park een vreselijke plek. Hij is deze zomer in de Dacha, de mini-shelter.
Als pup is Park uit het asiel geadopteerd door een familie. Helaas was dit geen ‘happy family’. De heer des huizes had losse handjes. Zijn vrouw, kinderen en de hond hadden het zwaar te verduren. Zijn echtgenote belandde in een hospitaal, zij kon het geestelijk niet meer aan. De onfortuinlijke vrouw vroeg ons snikkend om de hond naar een private shelter te brengen omdat de man Park constant sloeg en zijn woede botvierde op de onfortuinlijke hond.
Hij kwam hier (private shelter) binnen als een bont geslagen, angstige, uitgeputte hond. Hij is nog steeds bang om in de kennel naast blaffende, huilende lotgenoten in een hok te zitten. Tijdens een wandeling bloeit hij helemaal op, rent lekker in de rondte, vindt het heerlijk als er tegen hem gepraat wordt, houdt ervan om lekker aangehaald te worden. Hij springt en speelt dat het een lieve lust is. Hij is gewend om aan de lijn te lopen maar tijdens het spelen kan hij logischerwijs wel eens trekken. Op commando stopt hij daarmee. Terug in de shelter is hij meteen weer teneergeslagen en drukt zichzelf in een hoekje.
Park gaat nu met zijn vrijwilligster naar de hondenschool en kent de basiscommando’s inmiddels.
Park eet goed. Lekker hapjes is hij niet aan gewend. Hij begint sinds kort, heel voorzichtig, snoepjes uit de vrijwilligsters hand te eten.
Houding tov volwassenen: Park is timide maar dol op spelen, intelligent en niet opdringerig. Heel langzaam zal hij, als hij een goed thuis krijgt, weer blij en dankbaar worden. Hij is niet bang voor mensen maar is wel zeer behoedzaam. Hij weet immers nog niet of hij weer geslagen zal worden. Daarom zal hij eerst heel goed iemand observeren voordat hij contact toelaat.
Houding tov kinderen: vanaf 10 jaar. Mei: hij begint recentelijk te leren hoe te spelen en begrijpt nog niet goed hoe hij met kinderen om moet gaan. Hij kan gaan springen tijdens zijn spel dus met kleine kinderen is niet handig.

Houding tov andere honden: goed. Tijdens de eerste ontmoeting kan hij bang zijn. In het asiel verblijft hij met een teefje in zijn hok.
Houding tov katten: goed.
Kan alleen zijn: We denken van wel daar hij in het verleden een huishond is geweest.
Gezondheid: Park is gevaccineerd, gecastreerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Voorkeur adoptanten: Park kan als enige hond geplaatst worden of met een zeer rustige kalme hond als huisgenoot. We zoeken een zeer vriendelijke, toegewijde familie die geduld heeft en beseft wat Park heeft meegemaakt. Een familie die lange wandelingen met hem gaat maken. In zijn jonge leven heeft hij tot nu toe weinig goeds meegemaakt. Hij verdient een liefdevol thuis

The history of the dog
The puppy was taken from the municipal shelter to a troubled family. The husband of the family beated everyone in the house: a wife, children and a dog. His wife got into a hospital with a mental disorder, the unfortunate mother with sobs asked to take the dog to the private shelter because the monster was constantly beating and disposing of the evil on the unfortunate guy. They brought an absolutely hammered, frightened, exhausted dog. He came to the shelter and was very scared. He is still very afraid of being in the aviary next to barking and whining congeners. Only on a walk he opens up, runs around, enjoys communication and a person, loves affection and jumps, games with chopsticks. In the aviary he comes the whole squeezed and immediately compressed in the corner. To him it is very bad in a shelter.
Nutrition: allergies are not present, he eats dry food. To delicacies is not accustomed. Only now he begins with pleasure to take pieces from volunteers with great care.
Character: timid, but very eager to play, intelligent, not intrusive, but gradually with good attitude will be playful and cheerful, very grateful.
Attitude towards adults: he doesnt afraid people, but looks with caution, does not know whether he will be beaten. Therefore, first looks at a person, after he stays in a contact.
Attitude towards children: in a family with children older than 10 years. He just begins to play out and does not quite understand how to behave with children (can jump in games)
Attitude to other males and bitches: at first he can afraid. The first acquaintance does not offer, in the aviary stays with the female.
Attitude to cats – Unknown.
Relation to other animals – unknown.
As he walks on a leash: to the leash is accustomed. If played, can pull the leash, but on command stops.
Does any team know: now is engaged with the cynologist, has already mastered the basic commands.
How to ride in the car: there was no experience.
Can I stay at home alone: we think yes. in his past he was a pet, nothing spoil in the aviary.
Toilet: a two-time paddock, in the aviary tolerates.
Toys: likes to play with chopsticks, to toys is not accustomed.
Wishes for owners: preferably one or with a calm dog. The family should be very friendly, very seasoned, ready for long walks. He deserves to be loved. So little did he see in his life of good: shelter – beating – shelter.
