MAART 2019
Nicole is waarschijnlijk op straat geboren. Toen ze een maand of 4 was is ze door een auto aangereden en naar een asiel gebracht. Vrijwilligers hebben haar daar weggehaald en zijn met haar naar een dierenarts gegaan. Helaas kon het zwaar beschadigde en geïnfecteerde rechter achterpootje niet worden gered en moest worden geamputeerd. Na de genezing ontpopte Nicole zich als een vrolijke speelse pup die op haar 3 pootjes de andere honden voorbij sjeest.
Houding tov volwassenen: Nicole is een trouwe hond. Ze is graag in de buurt bij mensen die ze kent. Onbekenden benadert ze wat afwachtend en heeft ze wat tijd nodig om aan iemand te wennen. Nicole loopt, op wat enthousiaste trekmomenten na, goed mee aan de lijn maar loopt het liefst los. Ze luistert inmiddels ook als ze dan terug moet komen.
Houding tov kinderen: Goed met kinderen vanaf een jaar of 10.
Houding tov andere honden: Nicole speelt graag met de honden die ze kent. Als een vreemde hond haar benadert zal ze zich in eerste instantie verschuilen achter haar baasje. Maar als alles vriendelijk verloopt is ze in voor een spelletje met zowel reutjes als teefjes. Nicole kan zeker als tweede hond worden geplaatst, ze maakt graag deel uit van een roedel.
Houding tov katten: Goed met de huiskatten; buiten wil ze er voor de lol wel eens achteraan rennen.
Kan alleen zijn: Goed, zolang ze haar speeltjes in de buurt heeft. Ze zal niet blaffen of iets stuk maken.
Autorijden: Goed, Nicole geniet van autoritjes.
Gezondheid: Nicole is gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort. Nicole heeft soms last van huiduitslag, dit is gelukkig goed te verhelpen met antiallergeen voer.
Voorkeur woonomgeving: Er zal rekening moeten worden gehouden met haar handicap.
Voorkeur adoptanten: Nicole past prima in een gezin met wat oudere kinderen en andere huisdieren, maar is zeker ook geschikt voor een alleenstaand iemand of koppel zonder kinderen.

7. The history of the dog
Most likely Nicole was born on the street. At the age of four months, she was allegedly hit by a car and was taken to the shelter. Volunteers took her from the shelter. The paw could not be saved, since the bone was severely fractured and infection began. After the amputation of the paw and the treatment of the viral disease, Nicole became an ordinary playful puppy. She lived in an apartment. Nicole has a “sea” of energy and enthusiasm, she loves to play, run, walk outside, gnaw at toys and snacks. She learned how to do her toilet outside and got this very clear! Perfectly behaves herself at home. Now Nicole lives at foster place.
8. Food. No allergies have been identified. Eats dry food / canned food. Loves dog treats.
9. Character – general temperament – active, tied to the owner and other dogs in the family.
10. Attitude towards adults – with strangers, on first acquaintance, alert. She needs some time to meet a new person. With familiar people behaves absolutely friendly, caressed, makes sounds.
11. Attitude to children – good in a family with children over 10 years old.
12. Attitudes towards other males and females – With familiar dogs playing. When she meets a new dog, she stops, presses against the owner’s foot. If an unfamiliar dog calls into the game, starts playing. Bothered large dogs. In the pack can bark at “outsiders”. Differences in relation to males and females not seen.
