Maiya is een energieke stuiterbal die het liefst de hele dag wil rennen. Binnenshuis is ze overigens heel rustig en vindt niets zo prettig als aangehaald te worden of met een zachte knuffel te spelen.
Houding tov volwassenen: Goed. Maiya is afwachtend naar onbekenden en kan dan soms blaffen maar is na een aai snel gekalmeerd. Naar bekenden en gezinsleden is ze absoluut liefdevol en geeft dat aan door met haar neus op uw been te drukken. Aan de riem heeft ze neiging tot trekken want eigenlijk wil mevrouw loslopen en rennen. Ze is wel goed te corrigeren en kent ook de commando’s: ‘kom hier’ en ‘ naast’.
Houding tov kinderen: Goed met kinderen vanaf 5 jaar. Kleinere kinderen zou de omver kunnen lopen.
Houding tov andere honden: Goed zowel met reutjes als teefjes maar kan als het nodig is prima voor zichzelf opkomen. Maiya is gek op puppies en gedraagt zich direct als ‘pleegmoeder’. Ze is wel wat bezitterig met speeltjes, maar kan prima als tweede hond worden geplaatst.
Houding tov katten: Goed. Ze negeert ze of snuffelt wat aan ze.
Kan alleen zijn: een benchtraining is aan te bevelen.
Autorijden: Goed. Bij lange ritten wil ze soms wat ‘verzitten’.
Gezondheid: Maiya had ooit een gebroken pootje dat niet helemaal goed is aangegroeid. Als ze lang heeft gerend trekt ze er een beetje mee, maar ze heeft er verder geen last van. Voorts is ze gevaccineerd, gechipt, gesteriliseerd en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Voorkeur woonomgeving: Een huis met een tuin waarin ze lekker haar energie kwijt kan.
Voorkeur adoptanten: Geen voorkeur.
De adoptiebijdrage voor Maiya is 350,00 euro. Voor dit bedrag heeft u een prachtige, lieve, unieke en mooie hond die ook nog eens gechipt, gevaccineerd en gesteriliseerd is. Dit is inclusief de reis van Moskou naar Nederland en de bijdrage voor de verplichte veterinaire controle.

7. The history of the dog
Maiya …….. was found by one of our volunteer on a cold February morning 2017 year 1.5 ago, at the metro station Sokol in Moscow, running amidst a stream of cars rushing past on the Highway. I do not know how, but I managed to get her into the car before someone came to her. She was looking for puppies, which, unfortunately, could not be found. Maiya, at the time of our meeting, turned out to be a nursing mother, who apparently was thrown out right after, how she got older, what with the puppies, she can guess. The search for the master was not successful, there was not a single call.
Since then, this girl is already wandering around in relays in the hope of finding loving mom and dad. Poor Maiya for which the person is her whole world! This is absolutely a domestic dog, quite high on the paws, and completely man-oriented. For her, the master is God. Will try to climb on the handles, poke your nose at you expressing your great devotion and love. To a stranger with a positive (can bark for order, but then with pleasure will accept stroking).
Very active, likes to run, jump, gets along well with other dogs, but can easily stand up for herself, if necessary. The front paw was broken, it is clear that for a long time, it was a little wrongly grown together, so the gait is like a ballerina, so Maeya, in honor of Plisetskaya (The Great Russian ballerina).
Everything far from a person – for her death like. Complete numbness and stress. Ideal for her of course the house, she needs to fool around. Sometimes it seems to me that this is just a black hussy – so much energy and love in it.
8. Nutrition – allergies not detected. Eats dry food / canned food. Loves dog treats.

Wishes for owners – nowadays Maiya lives on foster place with a large number of dogs, is calm to all others animals, but you need to immediately show that she will not let other dogs to bite her, can protect herself, shows teeth.
