Finik is tired now.He drank a lot of water and rolled over in the grass near our home!
The drive in the car went well!
Our last dog died June last year at age of 15
We missed having a dog in our home and fell in love with Finik instantly, when we saw him at Mymartin’s site!

Shaggy, schattig mensenvriendje Finik verscheen in janauri 2017 in het asiel, hij maakte meteen goed contact, het leek erop dat hij eerder in een huis of tussen mensen heeft gewoond,
Toen hij voor het eerst meegenomen werd om te wandelen wilde hij zich losmaken en vrij lopen, maar inmiddels heeft hij geleerd om aan de lijn lopen en is het geen probleem meer.
Hij ligt graag aan je voeten en laat je dan niet meer gaan…
Houding tov volwassenen: Goed. Hij is communicatief en vriendelijk naar alle mensen, ook naar (oudere) kinderen.
Houding tov kinderen: Ouder dan 10 jaar.
Houding tov andere honden: Met de andere honden gaat hij goed om, hij is vooral dol op zijn buurvrouw Erika (www.mymartin.eu/erika), hij kletst graag met de andere honden en is absoluut geen botterik.
Houding tov katten: Onbekend.
Gezondheid: Finik is gevaccineerd, gecastreerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Finik was born in 2016. He has very nice muzzle, shaggy and cute boy. At the withers 55-57, weight about 25 kg, healthy, castrated.
He appeared in the shelter in January 2017 after the capture. Immediately he contacted with people. I got the impression that he either lived in a house, or among people. First time he walked badly on a leash, he wanted freedom … apparently had ran next to people without a lead. But he learned to be on a leash very quickly. Now it’s no problem to walk on a leash. He really likes to cuddle up at your feet and not let you go … and even try to climb between your legs 🙂 and you can sit on him riding 🙂
Finik very much loves his neighbor Erika (presented on the site). And with other dogs behaves normally. He does not bully up, likes to talk.
He feeds with simple shelter dog’s food, also eats canned food, brought by volunteers.
By the character he is active, friendly with all people, walked well with children of age 12-14.
We haven’t tested him on cats, in car, also if he can stay home alone.
