Kalme en bescheiden Elba is verlegen, maar eenmaal op haar gemak toont ze zich ontzettend lief, teder en zelfs speels.
Vreemden vindt ze eng, maar zal nooit grommen of agressief reageren. Ze werkt nog aan haar vertrouwen in mensen. Ze is niet stoer genoeg om voor zichzelf op te komen, is conflictvermijdend. Wat ze wel fijn vindt is wandelen op een rustig tempo, ze loopt dan ook hartstikke goed mee aan de lijn. Thuis ligt ze het liefst bij de open haard.
Net als haar grote vriendin Elfa waar ze veel tijd mee doorbrengt komt ze uit een asiel met vreselijke omstandigheden, nadat ze daar uit is gehaald in de herfst van 2015 is lang gewerkt met haar om haar te socialiseren. Houding tov volwassenen: goed. Vreemden vindt ze eng, maar zodra ze iemand leert kennen, vertrouwt ze diegene compleet.
Houding tov kinderen: rustige kinderen vanaf 10 jaar.
Houding tov andere honden: goed. Ze vindt andere honden leuk, vooral om samen mee te rennen, maar drukkere honden kan ze vervelend vinden. Kan heel goed als tweede hond, zodat ze gedrag kan overnemen. Ze is een volger, niet dominant.
Houding tov katten: onbekend.
Kan alleen zijn: goed, maar het liefst heeft ze gezelschap.
Gezondheid: Elba is gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Voorkeur adoptanten: Elba past het beste bij een rustig huishouden.
This female dog named Elbe (we call her Elba).
Nowadays since the middle of june 2017 Elbe lives at dacha (please read our project Dacha)
We want to give her a chance to become a pet. Dog was saved from the terrible private shelter more than a year ago (in autumn 2015)
Dog’s Elfa and Elba are big friends, most of time they like to stay together.

3. Appearance – mix-breed of stray dogs. The coat is short. Color: brown with white impregnations.
4. Height 45cm/ Weight 22 kg
5. Health – externally healthy.
6. Sterilized. Chipped. Vaccinated.
7. The history of the dog – the dog came to a private shelter from the other shelter with a horrible conditions. Was saved from that shelter. Dogs sat in tight cages without going out and connecting with people. For a year Elba learned to communicate with other dogs and people. Nowadays perfectly walks on a leash.
8. Nutrition – allergies are not identified. Eats dry food / canned food. Loves dog treats.
9. Character – general temperament. Elba is calm, unobtrusive, tries not to disturb anyone. A coward, with strangers wary. Never in her life she used to growl at anyone, never showed aggression to anyone, she can not stand up for herself, – unrequited. Dog is kind, still shy, study to trust people.
She never pretends to anything, walks well on a leash
To toys is not accustomed
To those whom she knows, very affectionate and gentle. If nothing scares, she is playful.
Elba (tiger chow-pantyhose)
A sweet, tender creature. People are afraid, but if she did, she trusted completely. Not conflict, very affectionate. After communication, you want her to hug and do not ever let go.
