Negen dagen in Nederland en in ons gezin/roedel. Wat een ontzettende lieverd!!!! Bescheiden, jaagkonijn en kroelkip. Dat laatste als Belletje de ruimte geeft want die is nog jaloers🙄. Samen spelen met Belletje en niet te beroerd om haar op haar plek te zetten. Voldoende ontzag voor onze hoogbejaarde Sjors de rottweiler, mee naar t bos en volop aan t trainen om m straks lekker los te laten rennen. Superhond, helemaal in love❤️❤️❤️❤️
Deze chocoladebruine grapjas kwam uit het niets tevoorschijn en besloot vrolijk de champignonplukkers gezelschap te houden. Nu eens verdween hij in het bos om dan weer over het bospad blaffend te rennen. De plukkers wilden hem niet aan zijn lot over laten en namen hem mee naar de datsja’s. Er is lang gezocht naar de eigenaar, maar dat leverde helaas niets op, waardoor Chester in een privé asiel terecht kwam in de herfst van 2017. Hier wacht hij nu al een jaar lang op zijn eigenaar. Waarom niemand Chester is komen claimen, is onbegrijpelijk. Het is namelijk een super hond!
Chester is heel erg baas georiënteerd en laat dit tijdens het wandelen ook graag weten aan voorbijkomende honden: Dit is mijn baas en ik ben met hem/haar aan het wandelen! Deze weekendwandelingen kunnen een plekje bij een liefdevol gezin natuurlijk niet vervangen. Wanneer de vrijwilligers naar huis gaan, is Chester erg verdrietig in zijn kooi terwijl hij wacht op hun terugkeer.
Chester is sociaal, vrolijk en aanhankelijk zonder opdringerig te zijn. Hij is erg leergierig en hij zal het dan ook leuk vinden om op cursus te gaan. Hij is dol op speeltjes en is actief. Chester loopt netjes mee aan de lijn en luistert naar commando’s. Hij is energiek en snuffelt graag rond. Op dit moment wordt hij 2 keer per dag uitgelaten in het asiel.
Houding tov volwassenen: Chester heeft een echte baas nodig, een fijn huis en gezin. Hij is een geboren gezelschapsbeest en vrind, hij voelt de stemming van mensen goed aan en zal alles doen om te zorgen dat zijn mensen niet verdrietig zijn. Hij wacht op een baasje om van hem te houden.
Houding tov kinderen: Chester is perfect voor een gezin met kinderen ouder dan 10 jaar.
Houding tov andere honden: Chester is in het begin wat afwachtend naar andere honden. Wanneer andere honden zich niet agressief opstellen, laat Chester interesse zien. In het asiel deelt hij een hok met een teefje.
Houding tov katten: Dit is onbekend. De voorkeur gaat echter uit naar een gezin zonder katten, maar evt. met andere hond(en).
Kan alleen thuis zijn: Dit is tot op heden onbekend. Het staat in de planning om dit nader te onderzoeken.
Autorijden: Chester gedraagt zich prima in de auto.
Gezondheid: Chester is gevaccineerd, gecastreerd, gechipt en heeft een dierenpaspoort.
Voorkeur woonomgeving: Geen voorkeur.
Voorkeur adoptanten: Chester kan uitstekend geadopteerd worden door een gezin met grotere kinderen (vanaf 10 jaar). Hij kan ook als tweede hond geplaatst worden.

7. The history of the dog
This funny chocolate guy appeared as if out of nowhere and cheerfully joined the mushroom pickers, then hiding in the bushes, then running out on the forest path with a fervent barking. People could not throw the animal in the forest and took him to his Dacha place. The long search for the owners did not lead to anything, and Chester came to live in the private shelter, where for almost a year waiting for his man (came to the shelter autumn 2017)
But the man still doesn’t come for Chester… It is not clear why?
After all, he’s just a wonderful dog! Beautiful, long-legged, cheerful, sociable, energetic and infinitely positive!
Chester is very pleased with the arrival of volunteers and runs with enthusiasm for such a long-awaited walk.
There you can explore new places and smells, to show their ability to walk around, to sit and to give paw! And you will be sure to praise, pet and treat with something tasty!
Chester is very important to communicate with the person, so on the walk he talks all high-pitched bark at a passing dog, it’s HIS man and they go for a walk!
But walks on weekends can not replace life in a loving family, and when volunteers leave, Chester is very sad in his cage and waiting for their return.
Chester really needs a real master, a real home and family. Chester was born to be a friend and companion, he feels the mood of man and is ready to do anything to his friends are not sad.
Open, sociable, a little Groovy, but very affectionate, Chester is waiting for his man to give him love!
8. Food – allergies are not detected. Eats dry food / canned food. Likes dog treats.
9. Character – overall temperament – cheerful, sociable, but unobtrusive.
10. The attitude of adults – friendly with everyone.
11. Attitude towards children – perfect for families with kids older than 10 years.
12. Attitude towards other dogs and bitches – To other dogs is a little wary, but if from them there is no aggression, that shows interest. Lives with a bitch at the shelter.
13. Attitude towards cats – unknown. Prefer family without cats but with dogs

15. How to walk on a leash – accustomed to a leash, on command, can walk around, enjoy an active walk.
16. Does any of the team – successfully learns the command in Russian. If you are ready he would love to join you ar dogs school!
17. How to ride by car – good.
18. Whether to stay at home alone – unknown yet. In plans to be checked.
19. Toilet – accustomed to walking twice a day outside (shelter schedule)
