Alisja was first seen in the street as a youngster, we don’t know how she got there, if she ever was a home dog or not. She is from Voskresensk, a town in Moscow district, 3 hours driving from Moscow. Despite her street life, Alisja is always cheerful, positive, ready to play with everyone. Walks well on a leash. Healthy and playful.
In May she had first estrus, with all ensuing consequences for a street girl… There were a lot of male dogs in that place she lived. Luckily, one caring girl took Alisja for TNR (trap-neuter-return) programme. Alisja spent three weeks in a cage, in the room with a hundred dogs. She returned very thin, hair on her bottom and her tail became yellowish of going “in her bed”. But she didn’t lose her optimism. After all she lived through she became even more human-oriented.
While Alisja was in the clinic, they found a foster home for her (a flat), where she is living now. She is getting used to three-time walking. And given she lived in the street all her life and then went in her bed, she is making great progress! Little Alisja is very frisky. She loves to run outdoors as well as spend your weekend together with you. She is so fawning. Loves to lie beside you, her head resting on your body. She haunts you everywhere. But gentle at the same time. Alisja is very human-oriented, she is concerned if feels when she has her master distressed. A clever, sensitive and very tender girl.
We see her living in a house (not a dog kennel in the garden, just inside the house if it’s a separate one). It is a companion dog. A brightside and smiley. Loves everyone. She can cheer you up and warm your heart when she is around. Absolutely no aggression. Alisja is friendly with all – cats, dogs, children and grown-ups. She gets along quickly with any dogs, ready to play. At the foster home she lives with another dog girl. They play a lot, softly, without any aggression. She doesn’t tend to be a leader, can be a second dog in the family.
As for cats, she is very friendly with them. They sleep at the same sofa with her. She can offer them to play, doesn’t offend them. She also gets along with children – there is a two-year kid in the foster family, her play-fellow. She is caring towards the child, carefully takes a treat from his hands. No aggression at all. Goes by car without car sickness. Alisja sleeps on a sofa in the foster family. She is not allowed to sleep on a bed, and understands it.
Unpretentious in food, eats porridge with meat. Can live in a flat or a house – not in a dog kennel, as she needs communication. Can live with cats, as a second dog (if the first one is not aggressive). Alisja is a real friend, a dog for your soul and happiness.
Alisja, about 11 months old. About 45 cm tall, weight 11,5 kg. She will grow a little bigger (she is skinny now). Neutered, treated against all external and endoparasites, vaccinated, now expecting re-vaccination.
