He was laying, buried in a pile of fallen frozen leaves near the gas station on one of Moscow high-speed roads, and despite the luxurious fur coat, he was shaking all over. Whether from fear, or from cold. November, it was dark, it was raining, it was snowing, and he was afraid to go far from people, because he could not live without a man, and he was afraid of people because he experienced on himself what human cruelty means. The dog with whom he lived at the gas station was killed on his eyes, as fuel workers told us later, and he began to fear people, but did not show any aggression, he simply does not know how to be aggressive and evil, he does not even know how to defend himself. We, volunteers, more than three hours were persuading him to come to our car, he really wanted it, cuddled, put his head to pet, but he was very afraid to sit in the car, it was terrible for him to trust people. But finally we persuaded him and took him to the vet : he were not taken in a cage or in a special car hammock for dogs – he was taken simply in the back seat – and he had no panic, no fear, no barking, there was nothing, he just laid his head on the driver’s shoulder and tried to lick. We called him Mishka. In Russian, this is a beautiful strong male name, and also the “sweet bear”. Mishka truthly is a very sweet and affectionate dog, large, fluffy, even fur, but infinitely loving people and adoring his house. He was a home dog before, because he knows how to behave at home, the toilet is only on the street, bathes in the bathroom, knows a dog-bed and very much asks for a sofa. As he was on the street and for what the four-year-old dog was kicked out, we’ll never know. But on the street he got a lot of grief. Because of his very calm disposition, people beat him and he was also bitten by dogs, according to the scars on his muzzle, it is very likely from the words of a veterinarian that a large, but harmless dog was hounded by a fighting dog. All the injuries are healed, the colds are cured, there are no other health problems with Mishka. He lives in a temporary house, on overexposure and very much awaits his family, people who will never offend him and will not betray him. In Russia, it is difficult to find a home for such a large dog, but Mishka is in no way suitable for living in an aviary, it is absolutely a home “sofa” dog, hand-held and infinitely affectionate, a lover of hugs. Mishka is absolutely not aggressive, can calmly go to the family not by the only one dog, does not react to cats, to all people is very disposed and always affectionate. He will be the ideal family member for a mature couple, since the activity of very young people is not entirely for him. Mishka is a home-boy, he always likes to sleep in his bed, and even better to watch with the family cinema in the living room then takes long walks. He walks, but he always wants to return home. He appreciates a house, doesn’t spoil anything and does not gnaw, a big fan of sleeping and kissing. Mishka has healed lacerations on his head and face, but they do not makes him uglier, they only talk about how much this bear-dog has survived.
Mishka is looking for those who love him with all his heart and who will never betray to whom Mishka himself will be able to give all his heart.
Dogs are only 3.5-4 years old, although it may seem from the photo that more, these are the consequences of homeless life, he is healthy and vaccinated, castrated. Very focused on people, not a big fan of active games, but a major specialist in the field of caresses, the dog is affectionate and kind. He loves people, loves dogs, and is indifferent to cats.
The height at the withers is 52 cm, the approximate weight is 35 kg. And a huge canine heart for the lucky ones who fall in love with Mishka and give him their own family.
